Im doing a piece of course work, and i have to explain what Guru Nanak meant by saying "There is neither Hindu nor Muslim; so whose path shall I follow? I shall follow God's path"

If you know this wording and story after this when Guru Nanak was invited in mosque, it becomes clear. In God's eye no one is Hindu or Muslim. When Guru Nanak went to Mecca, people asked this question in other way:

Q: Who is greater Hindu or Muslim ?
Ans: Without good deeds both are ruining their lives. In God's court no one is judged as Hindu or Muslim. People fight on the name of Hindus or Muslim but Ram and Rahim is one. They are not following God but Satan.

In Japujee Guru Nanak says, " Iyee Panthi Sagal Jamati...... IE One who treats all people same is the topmost religious person".
