Default Does Islam fall under Hindu culture as religion of Sikhism does?

Well many people do not know that Hinduism in NOT a religion. It is a philosophy of non violence. Jainism, Sikhism are religion IN Hinduism, the culture or philosophy.

No, Islam is a direct offshoot of the Abrahamic tradition. Hinduism and Sikhism have nothing to do with the Abrahamic God.

I would`t say so because unlike Sikhism, Islam USN`t mostly limited within the Indian Subcontinent having spread across the globe and unlike Sikhism as well it`s origins are not within the Hindi Culture

No, Islam is a direct offshoot of Judaism. Hinduism is fundamentally different from the Semitic traditions.

Didn't mean to mimic Jim, ha ha.

What do you mean by Hindu culture? Hindu culture is usually accommodating of differing beliefs, even ones that are naturally intolerant and exclusive, like the Abrahamic faiths.

Islam is a western religion the basis of which is in the Jewish mythology. Other western religions are Christianity and Judaism. They believe in one God and consider not believing only in one God is a sin. Ha ha ha.

Actually, Sikhism does not place under the Dharmic umbrella, at least it shouldn't. Sikhism is composed of ideas from many faiths; notably Islam, Hinduism, and a little Christianity. True, many Sikhs are descended from Hindus. But if you ask me, Sikhism has more in common with Islam than it does with Hinduism, though Sikhs will never admit this!

Islam definitely does not have anything to do with Hindu religion in regards to beliefs. Sufi thought is somewhat a blending of the two cultures but that goes as a bra ch of Islam. Other than that, the religions are separate.

How can I receive so many thumbs down for this?

Islam doesn't fall under Hindu culture but surely, Islam was responsible for fall of Hindu culture.

When I see ignorant Hindus like you, I start to lose hope for Hindus.
Your knowledge about "religion of peace" is really PATHETIC.

The only difference between Hindus and Muslims is that:
Hindus says everything is God
Muslim says everything is God's.

Ignore the guy called Jai Bharat, he has received his education from a third rate Madras so of course he will chat shit. Yes, Islam falls under Hinduism because the name "Allah" has been directly taken from Hinduism and Islam hasn't given anything that Hinduism didn't already give.

Islam is derived from Hinduism. There is evidence that deities of the pagan Kaaba originated from the Hindu religion. Allah (the moon god) was one of those deities, selected as a single deity to represent the new-found monotheism of Islam.

No, I dint think so. Plus, Islam relates more to Christianity. Sure, they follow many Sikh like practices, but if u look through the old testament of the bible, that's very similar in how god wanted men and women to live.

I'd have to say no as our religion of Islam belongs to the family of Abrahamic religions and are monotheistic. Abrahamic religions were all founded in the Middle East and believe in one God, most would say that they worship the same God. These religions trace their ancestry back to Abraham. These religions are for the most part peaceful but call for violence in self-defense if need.

As for Hinduism, it like Buddhism, does not belong to the family of Abrahamic Religions but belongs the family of Dharmic "Religions," Dharmic Religions like Hinduism and Buddhism are generally more peaceful than Abrahamic religion but still small groups of their followers are more violent, such as Japanese Buddhism and the violent cults of Hinduism that have emerged. Unlike Abrahamic religions these religions do not believe in one God and were founded in India, not the middle east, so Hinduism has almost nothing to do with Islam.

As for Sikhism, Sikhism is usually believe in a monotheistic God, like most Abrahamic religions, but it does not believe in an afterlife like Abrahamic religions but usually has a belief of reincarnation in it, as does Hinduism. This has led many to believe that Sikhism was created about 500 years ago by combining the beliefs of Islam and Hinduism. So I suppose it's possible that Islam and Sikhism are somehow related, but there seems to be nothing similar between them except that the both follow one God.

As for "Hindu" culture, well there really is no such thing as "Hindu" culture, or "Sikh" cultures, or "Islamic" culture. There is distinctive culture of the people who live on the Indian subcontinent. They all pretty much have the same culture, or very similar cultures today. Most of Pakistan is Muslim, while most of India is Hindu, the people there have much the same culture.

Hinduism is not a religion, it is a philosophy. The same can be said about every religion including Zoroastrians, Jews, Christianity, Islam, Buddhas, Jains and Sikhs. Islam is based on Philosophy given by Muhammad, Jainism is by Mahavira and Sikhism is based on the philosophy of Nanak.
Every religion says it is not a religion but way of life. This has come from ego(I am the greatest). In God's eye there is no Hindu, Muslim, Christian or Sikh. Guru Nanak was asked a question at Mecca by a Muslim, "Enlighten us O great Pier, who is greater Hindu or Muslim?" He replied, " Without good deeds, both are wasting their lives, In God's court both Hindus and Muslims do not find place. People are following Satan's way" Remember at that time, there was no Sikhism and Buddhism had disappeared from Hindostan.

Nooohreligion of Islam is the acceptance of and obedience to the teachings of God which He revealed to His last prophet, Muhammad .

Muslims believe in one, unique, incomparable God, Who has no son nor partner, and that none has the right to be worshiped but Him alone. He is the true God, and every other deity is false. He has the most magnificent names and sublime perfect attributes. No one shares His divinity, nor His attributes. In the Quran, God describes Himself:

Say, ?He is God, the One. God, to Whom the creatures turn for their needs. He begets not, nor was He begotten, and there is none like Him.? (Quran, 112:1-4)

No one has the right to be invoked, supplicated, prayed to, or shown any act of worship, but God alone.

God alone is the Almighty, the Creator, the Sovereign, and the Sustainer of everything in the whole universe. He manages all affairs. He stands in need of none of His creatures, and all His creatures depend on Him for all that they need. He is the All-Hearing, the All-Seeing, and the All-Knowing. In a perfect manner, His knowledge encompasses all things, the open and the secret, and the public and the private. He knows what has happened, what will happen, and how it will happen. No affair occurs in the whole world except by His will. Whatever He wills is, and whatever He does not will is not and will never be. His will is above the will of all the creatures. He has power over all things, and He is able to do everything. He is the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful, and the Most Beneficent. In one of the sayings of the Prophet Muhammad , we are told that God is more merciful to His creatures than a mother to her child.1 God is far removed from injustice and tyranny. He is All-Wise in all of His actions and decrees. If someone wants something from God, he or she can ask God directly without asking anyone else to intercede with God for him or her.

God is not Jesus, and Jesus is not God.2 Even Jesus himself rejected this. God has said in the Quran:

Indeed, they have disbelieved who have said, ?God is the Messiah (Jesus), son of Mary.? The Messiah said, ?Children of Israel, worship God, my Lord and your Lord. Whoever associates partners in worship with God, then God has forbidden Paradise for him, and his home is the Fire (Hell). For the wrongdoers,3 there will be no helpers.? (Quran, 5:72)

God is not a trinity. God has said in the Quran:

Indeed, they disbelieve who say, ?God is the third of three (in a trinity),? when there is no god but one God. If they desist not from what they say, truly, a painful punishment will befall the disbelievers among them. Would they not rather repent to God and ask His forgiveness? For God is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful. The Messiah (Jesus), son of Mary, was no more than a messenger... (Quran, 5:73-75)

Islam rejects that God rested on the seventh day of the creation, that He wrestled with one of His angels, that He is an envious plotter against mankind, or that He is incarnate in any human being. Islam also rejects the attribution of any human form to God. All of these are considered blasphemous. God is the Exalted. He is far removed from every imperfection. He never becomes weary. He does not become drowsy nor does he sleep.

The Arabic word Allah means God (the one and only true God who created the whole universe). This word Allah is a name for God, which is used by Arabic speakers, both Arab Muslims and Arab Christians. This word cannot be used to designate anything other than the one true God.
