Breaking news.....Sikhism hasn't derived anything from Islam. That is just BS that Muslims like to say. Guru Nanak respected Islam just like he respected all religions....It doesn't mean that Sikhism has borrowed anything from Islam. The only Muslims who Guru Nanak was inspired by was the Sufi Muslims and Sufis are themselves not even accepted by conventional Muslims as being genuine Muslims because Sufism itself was influenced by Hinduism. Monotheism existed centuries before Islam was created and Mudslims don't have pat ency over the concept of monotheism.

The role of the Guru
The concept of Misha/nirvana
The belief in reincarnation
The idea that the soul is a part of God in the same way that the drop is a part of an ocean
The belief in 100% equality between all faiths and races (Muslims only believe in equality between themselves while they regard non-Muslims as fairs)
The belief that one should not give fear neither accept it
The idea that one should ALWAYS fight against oppression (Muslims believe that they should only fight against non-Muslim oppression while they as Muslims should oppress others)
The high regard of women (unlike Islam Sikhism doesn't advocate the stoning of women)
The role of Hagan/kirtan and singing (when Islam first came to India Muslims and Hindus often clashed because Muslims resented Hindus praying so loudly)
The belief in Maya (illusion)
The belief in karma

are among the several ideas that Sikhism did NOT borrow from Islam....Maybe YOU should say what exactly Sikhism DID borrow from your jihadi religion before asking Sikhs what they did not borrow from Islam.

Nothing is left to say after Vande Matram, Kudos to him/her.

Sikhism is also one of many philosophies of Hinduism derived from Sankhya and Adwait Vedanata. But I won't disappoint you. Sikhism has some relation with Muslims too. Actually Sikhs were made to kill fanatic Muslims and to save the Hindus of India.

If Sikhs had had any relation with Islam, they wouldn't have been forced to give Jazia in Pakistan.

Sikhism is a religion which originated in India in 15Th century . It was founded on teachings of Guru Nanak by Guru Nanak himself .
The fundamental Sikh creed ( Mool Mantra ) is " Ek Oankar Satnaam Kata piranha nibbHaivair akaal murat ajuni saibhan gurprasad "

Mool Mantra ========

Ek Oankar - " One universal creator God "
Satnaam - " His name is truth "
Karta Purakh - " He is the creator and driving force behind everything in universe "
Nirbhao - "Without fear "
Nirvair - "Without enmity or prejudice"
akaal murat - "timeless " ( time does not have any effect on him )
Ajuni - " free from birth and death "
Saibhan - "self sustaining " ( god does not need depends on anything )
gurprasad - "realised through the grace of a true guru "

Sikhs provide free food to the devotees who come in gurdwaras , Golden temple has 4 doors on 4 sides which signifies its openness for all .

Sikhs have their 5 K's ( from whom have we borrowed that ?)

Sikhism shuns veils for women ( as burqa in Islam and ghoonghat in Hinduism ) and provide them equal rights .

Sikhism does not believes in Sati or stoning women to death .

Sikhism does not have a priestly class ( pundit or qazi ) .Sikhism rejects caste system .

Only Sikh scripture starts with numeral '1' indicating uncompromising Monotheism.

Sikhs don't cut their hair as part of God's will.

Sikhs don't believe in fasting ( but Hindu brothers and Muslim brothers believe ) .
These are just a few . But , let us not quarrel over differences.

Guru Granth Sahib says :
" The one all mighty lord created light , all beings are from God
From one light entire world was created , So who is good and who is bad"

Jesus is the answer and he is the Messiah, the One we should trust. He is the only true mediator between God and man.

Jesus said, ...."I am the Way, the Truth and the Life. No man comes to the Father (God) but through Me." John 14:6
