Do whatever YOU feel is right, people shouldn't control each others beliefs. Go with what your heart and head say.

Maybe you would be best off to continue with your parents' traditions, even if you don't agree with them. They can force you to do what they want, but they can't force you to think what they want. When you and your brother are old enough, then practice Sikhism openly, because at that point, they can't do anything.

Two options: Research ways to live safely and independently without your parents. Or lie and say that you're still a Hindu. I'm not sure if you're okay lying about your faith or not, and I wouldn't recommend it, but just go with whatever works for it.

NOT an option: Staying a Hindu because they say so. It's disgusting that they're trying to scare you into following a faith you don't believe in.

I wouldn't want to get thrown out for going from 1 false religion to another; neither one promising eternal life. If you want real life, it is only found in Jesus. Romans 10:9-10 is the way to receive eternal salvation; and the religions you mentioned offer only deeper deception.

Hi , as u r content with philosophy of Sikhism ,do they teach in Sikhism to disrespect Ur parents ,give them pain by disobeying them ? No religion teaches that . The biggest religion of all is religion of humanity ,which tell u to love ,care n respect Ur parents , Can u be a good Sikh ,after disobeying n hurting Ur parents ! forget it ,take care of Ur parents !

You failed miserably !!!!

Dont try to spread misinformation and hate. There is no Hindu family who have any hate for any Sikh, because we Hindus treat Hinduism and Sikhism as same, and we worship all Sikh Gurus

In Punjab all Hindus families always convert their eldest son to Sikhism. There is no difference between Sikhism and Hinduism and you will find many Hindus visiting gurudwaras and vice versa

instead of spreading such hate, you should tell good things of sikhism, which you liked.

Love is the key, not the hate

Hinduism and Sikhism go together, so there is no need to convert. You can practice the tenets of Sikhism. The rituals are almost the same. So, just go to the Gurdwara and seek the Chief Priest's blessings.

It means you know nothing about Sikhism and Hinduism.

Both are sister religions and change from one to other is easy and acceptable.

Elder son in Hindu families were earlier given to Sikhism and still this practice is followed

Stop Trolling

look, if you are influenced by Sikhism then no one can stop you from following its ideologies... You can read the Guru grant sahib, go to the Gurudwara, do Deva, ,,, etc. Ok.
But do not hurt your parents, ,,,,,,
Otherwise you will go against the teachings of Sikhism,,,,,
