the devil is a prank played upon himself and those who would believe him.

everything is god, and god is endless and perfect... god is balance.

Hinduism has Shiva and Kali, which are close to role of Devil, but they're worshiped as other deities
Buddhism -- no.
Sikhism--?

I read a story about Buddha in which Mara tempted him. This is like Satan tempting Jesus. I don't know Mara is Satan or not.

Mara is an important aspect of Buddhism but can be interpreted as an aspect of you.

No concepts of Satan or Devil is present in Hinduism, Buddhism or Sikhism.

Both in Hinduism and Buddism there are no devils/Satans as permanent entities, but the evil inside.

"Satwic/Daivi Prakriti" or Nobel thoughts and deeds, make one pious,
And
"Rajasic/Tamasic Prakriti" or evil thoughts and deeds, make one otherwise.

No.
but Indian epics and Puranas described the Rakshasa Pravrithi.(characteristic features of a demon)
Those people who do bad deeds and insult great people, harass the sages,kills innocent people and seek pleasure by torturing other beings are called demons.
EDIT
Unlike in other religions, Indian philosophy( Sanathana Dharma)

says, that devils exist in our body, in our mind, in our unconscious and named them " Arishadvargas"
Though most of Indians know about Arishad Vargas", link is given for the benefit of foreigners.(HTTP://veda.wikidot.com/arishadvarga)
and one has to constantly fight with the evil forces that exist in him and conquer them.
What several thousands of years back told by Sanathana Dharma was again retold by psychologists, philosophers as id,ego and super ego,

In Hinduism the concept of Satan or Devil is not mentioned.
God is ALL THAT IS and ALL THAT IS NOT. He is Omnipresent, Omnipotent & Omniscient. So everything in the world we see is connected to God.
God is in the profound and the profane.
If we say that God does not exist is that thing, place or person.
It means that we are not talking about God. Because God is everywhere.
But where ever we see absence of God, we call it Satan or Devil. Devil is the man made concept to keep himself in check from going astray.

Yes Sir, definitely, in Sikhism, it has been named as Kalyuga, besides Satan and Maya.

S's S's S's S's S's S's S's S's S'ss ???? ?
Modesty and righteousness both have vanished, and falsehood moves about as the leader, O Lalo.
????? ????? ?? ?? ??? ???? ???? ?????? ?? ???? ?
The function of the Qazis and the Brahmans is over and the Satan now reads the marriage rites.
{{{Guru Nanak Dev Ji, Raag Tilang 722}}}

?????? ??? ???? ?? ????? ??? ?????? ???
In the Iron-age, fire is the chariot and falsehood, the charioteer, in front.
{{{Guru Nanak Dev Ji, Raag Aasaa 470}}}

??? ?????? ??? ??? ???? ? ??? ? In this dark age, no one is attached to good actions and righteousness.
??? ?? ???? ????? ?? ??? ??? ? The Darkage took birth in the house of a pariah.
???? ??? ???? ?? ????? ? ??? ????????? Nanak, sans Lord's Name, none can be emancipated.
{{{Guru Amar Daas Ji, Raag Gauree 161}}}

?? ??? ????? ???? ????? ???? ???? ?
O man, thou art full of with pride and laden with pride and thou shalt depart.
???? ????? ????? ???? ???? ???? ????? ?
Fascinating mammon has fascinated thee and again and thou shalt be goaded into existences.
????? ???? ???? ???? ?? ???? ??? ???????? ?
clinging to pride thou goest, O foolish man, and while departing, thou shalt repent in the end.
??????? ????? ???? ??? ????? ???? ?????? ?
With the ailment of ego and again thou art afflicted and art vainly devastating (wasting) thy life.
????? ???? ????? ???? ??? ??? ???????? ?
The self-willed fool remembers not the Lord and repent while going yonder (in the next world).
?? ??? ????? ?? ??? ????? ???? ????? ???? ????? ???
Thus says Nanak, O man! thou art filled with pride, and laden with pride thou shalt depart.
{{{Guru Amar Daas Ji, Raag Aasaa 441}}}

I think no, as per as my knowledge is concern(HA HA HA HA HA).
some says,"Sur",and "Asur".but this is not true I think. Bcz many times "Sura's" acts were like so called devils(negative ) and "Asur's" acts were divine. Yes most of the cases Auras are considered as bad guys BC though they are tough guy, but generally they wish to make big kingdom (which is the hole universe).but some 100% divine Asurs are there also.(ha ha ha ha.)

edit comes:hey above to me,some answerer(one of them is the top contributor of the community) says Mother Kali is evil or supporter of evil. :O
please do not comment if you don't know.
Kali is the symbol of universal energy and also universe.if you ever heard the explanation of the Idol of Mother Kali you may think it is a physics class(but with out mathematical equation) .there are million and trillions of explanation can be presented.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kali
see here lord Shiva is laying under the feet of mother Kali
this is the idol which states the universe also.(it is very aggressive idol)for this reason so many people of different religion(truly even some Hindu also) are scared to see it(but that is really not matters it can represent the universe). there are so many other explanation also but i like it most.

even only Kali idol can explain Universe and Brahma( the almighty god).

Yes as jacket sing says there is a kind of a similar concept but not like the Christians say.
We call it Karlik avatar in Sikhism. The avatar of Hindu god Karlik.
Search you tube Karlik avatar as its from the Dasam Granth.
I dont want to bore u and write long essays but just look at kalki avatar and ur questions will be answered.

Yes , But the Satan is within us .
Our own vicars ( five evils ) are the thieves / devil .
The five evils which separate us from god are Lust , anger , attachment , greed and ego .

God is the sole powerful entity in universe and no power is parallel to god .
