do you think we sikhs should have yoni and lingum worship in sikhism?
in Hinduism this is very important and that is why they are producing a lot of babies. we Sikhs are not producing enough children. could it be because of the turban the semen dies
Chantal G: now that you know what it means, can i have yours for religious purpose. I'd like to holy puma on yours. for you shall be blessed.
I may be one of the few people on here who know what those words mean.
Wiccans also acknowledge the male and female energies, but I don't think they're producing huge numbers of children. I think the difference is more cultural than just revering religious symbols. Neat idea, though.
Are you actually thinking of enriching the great religion of Guru Gobind Singh or are you inviting trouble for yourself by asking this question? How can you even begin to ponder over yon and ling am worship in a religion which is very set in it's ways? Your thoughts at best are deviant and at worst you may get a "fatwa" from the Sikh community.
Don't mess with religion it will not be fun. Leave the Sikh ideologies to the SGPC and other members of the faith, they have more experience than you for sure.
When it comes to turbans and semen production there is NO linkage whatsoever. When did worship ping a statue of a ling am ever create babies. You either have it or you don't.
Arabs also wear a head gear. Ever heard of an Arab in the hot desert complaining about his semen count? Of course not.
Sikh folk are progressive minded however the flip side to this is that Punjab state in India has one of the highest female infanticide deaths. If a girl is killed during pregnancy or killed right after birth then yes the male to female ratio will be skewed and this is already apparent in Punjab State. Acknowledge this first before assuming that there aren't enough babies born!!
