Will SIKHISM accept me with 9 UPNISHADs and the GITA?
I believe in all aspects of GURMAT preached by GURU GRANTH SAHIB. If a person believes and practices according to GURMAT , that is part and parcel of GURMAT.
I declare here one wonderful fact firmly without any doubt.
9 UPNISHADs( Ish , Kain, Kath, Prasn, Aitreya, Tatteriya, Swetswtar, Mundak, Mandukya) and the GITA , these all tell nothing but all aspects of GURMAT that we learn easily in the beautiful , divine and simple verses of Gurbany. So ,these divine books were revealed through those who were firm believer of GURMAT and practising as per GURMAT.
Can't those who were practising as GURMAT before apprearance of GURBANY, be termed as GURMAT PEOPLE?
Yes,of course, those before of after revelation of GURBANY should be termed as GURMAT PEOPLE or SIKHs.
The divine subject(GURMAT) of these 10 books has been surrounded and suppressed by numerous confusions and contradictions( opposite to true GURMAT ) created and spread by so called Brahmins in the form of various books and other things.
Caste Brahmins( so called) look down others as low born and consider themselves as higher born ones . They overlook eating up of HALAL( meat prepared in typical Islamic way) by many of brahmins of J&K , Himachal, Uttranchal, Mithila, Bengal . If this is Hinduism , I declare myself along with GITA and 9 UPNISHADs as non Hindu
Will not SIKHISM accept me with 9 UPNISHADs and GITA?
If you think so called Hindus and Hindu Brahmins which eat meat is real Hinduism and because of them you'd leave your drama, then you're mistaken. Why?
- Because accepting Sikhism would still mean you're a Hindu. Don't try to fool people here that Hinduism and Sikhism are different. Sri Guru Nanak DevJi were a Hindu Khatri.
- As per Hindu Shaastras, Brahmin without Sandhya Vandana for 3 days is a Sudra. A Brahmin getting interest on his money is not a Brahman....and so on, so why do you worry for Hindus or Hindu Brahmins who eat meat, or for that matter even beef.
By believing that you're or not some Hindu, Jain, Buddhist or a Sikh, you will not be able to take benefit of Bhagawad Geeta. You'd still remain tied to the differences made by few people after the Holy People leave their body.
Why would any one in his right senses want to join and be accepted in Sikhism; for if he is continuing to work; as below; for fighting to protect the virtuous; and surviving his self; WITH THE STREGTH OF DETERMINATION; ( NISCHAY KAR APNI JEET KARON) then he is already a Sikh.
1) being in the process of learning and educating himself; and knowing about the limitlessness of the divine manifestations of the glories of the lord; ( SHUBH KARMAN SE KABHAON NA DARO)
2) through the medium of the supreme nature of the supreme spirit of the lord;( EK OMKAAR KARTA PURAKH, NIRBHOW, NIRVAIR, AKAAL AMURAT, AJOONI SAIBHANG,
3) for attracting, receiving, and gaining always; the work of the reasons, objects, activities, and actions, wisdom of the supreme knowledge, superior intelligence, higher learning and higher education, and higher nature of the supreme;( GUR PRASADI) ; especially from;
4) such being who is part manifestation of the lords glory; and is glorious, brilliant and powerful
Sikhism says that the divine sound is the Guru and your consciousness is the disciple .

In Guru Granth Sahib there are So many saints who came from Hindu backgrounds but were rejected by Hindu priests or some Brahmins . Brahmins are NOT bad . There is a saint called Trilochan who come from Brahmin background . Ravidas was regarded as shudra by caste .
Pandit did not allow sant Namdev to sit infront of Temple door , but temple changed direction to face namdev and showed its back on pandits
In each and every age, He creates His devotees and preserves their honor, O Lord King.

The Lord killed the wicked Harnaakhash, and saved Prahlaad.

He turned his back on the egotists and slanderers, and showed His Face to Naam Dayv.

Servant Nanak has so served the Lord, that He will deliver him in the end. ||4||13||20||
Namdev , Ravidas , Kabeer , Fareed are prime examples of Gursikhs before Guru Nanak .

Follow the Guru's Teachings, and hold tight to the Lord's Name, O friend.

Thus prays Naamdev, and so says the Bhagvad Gita as well. ||5||2||6||
As Guru Arjan Dev says

I have seen and tasted all other flavors, but to my mind, the Subtle Essence of the Lord is the sweetest of all. ||1||

Whoever drinks this in, is satisfied.
Salvation is not limited to religion , Whoever chants on name of supreme Lord obtains his grace.
Sikhism does not say that Vedas or Kateb ( semitic books ) are false . False are those people who don't realise the essence of teachings of Vedas or Katebs .

Do not say that the Vedas, the Bible and the Koran are false. Those who do not contemplate them are false.
So , yes you can follow Gurbani by even being a Hindu .
Enriching with knowledge particularly spiritual knowledge is always welcome in Sikhism but you are not accepted into Sikhism[it does not matter whether people like me to accept you or not, however it matters, if you are accepted by the True Guru] for the simple reason submission before True Guru is without any conditions. Conditions are put forward by the Guru and the true Guru says:
" Jau Tau pr em Khulna KIA Charo, sir DAR tali merer AA,
Etta Marga pair Drake, sir deejey kaan na keejey"
If you want to play the game of love(want to walk on the path of spirituality being shown by me, then place your head on your palm(submit everything you have).
Furthermore True Guru also says:
Pehlan maran kabool, jeevan kee chhadd aas, hoyee sabhan kee renuka tau aao hamare paas"
[First be a dead person(leave every iota of ego), then come to me, be the dust of everyone's feet, the come to me for enlightenment].
Bhai Gurdas says,
Murda hoyee murid na gali(n) hovna,
(a follower is like dead body and it does not come with mere talking).
You are Hindu, muslim or Sikh it does not matter in front of True Guru or True Court. If there is no inner enlightenment, whole life is wasted.
Good Luck. Just concentrate on one thing, whether True Guru accepts the criteria I am following or not, do not care about the world. World gave titles to Gurus like, " Bhootna, Betala. Rebel, deewana, harbourer of thieves, apostate etc.
