Default What can I do about this hindu person pretending to be sikh and insulting sikhism?

There is this Hindu person here on YA who pretends to be a Sikh in his answers and deliberately give anti-Sikh answers. I personally don't hate any religious group/cult/faith but why do people pretend and mislead questioners like that sitting behind a screen?
Sofia - I'm absolutely certain this person is neither a Sikh 'by birth' nor a Sikh by conviction.

American transcend en- I don't worry about him making fun of Sikhism, rather about him misleading questioners that ask serious questions regarding Sikhism.
steel boy - This person goes by the name of 'oops' , he is Hindu because going by his other answers they are pro Hindu, but he is one of them hindus who is anti-sikh. he pretends to be a sikh though and delivers anti sikh stuff.

Because they are full of fear and hate and as we know, hate begets hate.

Don't do anything. He is doing and saying these things to get a rise out of everyone, and if he/she was ignored they will eventually give up and go away.

If you feel you have to answer, then use hum our. People like that do not like to have somebody laugh at them. For instance - a gay friend of mine WA sin a crowd and some homophobic person yelled out "fag".
He turned around, smiled at the man and replied "Sorry friend but I do not smoke". The man literally slid away while the rest of the crowd laughed.

Just ignore him! or did u hear about Tharkashasthra? It is a debate to prove what is right. He might be giving such answers Cox he might be expecting u to give proof.

How insulting? So what? Maybe it's funny to him. Isn't it just a little bit intriguing to all you worriers about whether your religion is being "insulted" or not, that Buddhism actually welcomes being made fun of? Go on, give it your best shot--you'll find the people who are laughing hardest are the most sincere Buddhists. Doesn't that suggest something?

I think it is a prejudice. He or she might be a Sikh, Hindu, christian, Muslim, Bahai or someone else or an atheist, the best thing for you is to practice tolerance. Read life history of Guru Nanak. He was called a Bhootna(Naughty), Betala(Rythmless) and so many other adjectives were given to him and what did he do?. You can press abuse button if it is abuse. This is era of freedom of expression. A person can express only those thought which he or she carries in his/her mind.
