Sufism Sufism is a mystical-ascetic approach to Islam that seeks to find divine love and knowledge through direct personal experience of God. By focusing on the more spiritual aspects of religion, Sufis strive to obtain direct experience of God by making use of "intuitive and emotional faculties" that one must be trained to use.

Pretty much all mystics agree on all the big points be they Hindus, Sufies, Buddhist, Gnostics etc...

The only difference is that some don't believe in a God and some do, but nether seems to hold it against the other.

Sufism is actually a part of Hindus. Sufis may be Muslims or Hindus or pagans,by origin but they were following 2 basic philosophies of Hinduism viz. Vedanta and Anhad Naad.

they were literally bracts and loved god as lover, which is also a branch of Hinduism, as go pis (cowherd girls) loved Krishna like a lover

Read the poems of rumi, Kabir, Bulle shah, Baba Farid and you will find how in simple words they elaborated hindu philosophy, not accepting its social rituals, but the deeper philosophy

No, Sufism is actually mysticism of Islam.

Though some of the Sufi saints
like Baba Farid, Khwaja, Baitula, Buleshah and many more
who spent most of their life in India amongst Hindus,
were very much influenced by the Hinduism,
which is evident even from their teachings
that have the essence of the Hinduism of that time.

All the Sufi saints of Indian orig en were equally regarded by Hindus, Sikhs and Muslims of their times and this practice is here even at present. They can be regarded as a spiritual chain amongst Muslims, HIndus and Sikhs in India.

Hindu philosophy of life is "Live and Let Live". The Islamic philosophy of life is "Die and Don't let anybody else live". The answer is NO, Sufism cannot be related to Hinduism. All the Sufi saints of India were imperialists who colonized us and made slaves out of us and killed our people. And now these people are crying about Palestine being occupied by Israel. Oh well, what you give is what u get. KARMA.

Long Live Israel!!!
