We Sunni (Muslims) admit: we can't win a debate with Shia, do you know why?
SunniSunni Muslims are the largest group in Islam, comprising the vast bulk (80-90%) of the world's 1.5 billion Muslims, hence the title Ahl as-Sunnah wa’l-Jamā‘ah (people of the tradition and union)
We Sunni (Muslims) admit: we can't win a debate with Shia, do you know why?
Cause it is very easy for them to curse the Sahabas to antagonize us, while we Sunnis are refrained from such behaviors cause we are Muslims.
Therefore the moment a debate is started, the Muslim will immediately quit because he can't stand the disrespect the Shia show towards the beloved Sahabas, cause Shia have no principles, nor do they base their belief on a divine message, just a political standpoint
Agree?
If anyone interested to see how low a Shia can be, just read Le?n's answer..... typical decadent Shia response, no respect to companions, no respect to themselves
Alhamdulellah my point is proved through Le?n's answer.
More over they go to TAQIYYAH mode as soon as they get trapped.
And they themselves do not know their religion they adopt the prov which is needed according to the situation.
First shies in Y/A claimed that they do not give their imams higher rank than prophets and this an accusation against them by salami/wahabi/ NASA. Then when proved them from their books they twisted their prov
likewise they said prophet Mohammad( SalaidhOHIuihi wasallam) is not our imam, then they changed their POV.
See the link, how shia(99) called it bidah calling prophet Mohammad( sallallahu alihi wasallam) as our IMAM
You r right to some extent but thats not the only difference there r many differences in basic beliefs.
The main diference is what status they give to the successor of prophet Mohammad(sallallahu alaihi wasallam).
We muslim believe that prophet Mohammad(sallallahu alaihi wasallam) was the last prophet who recieved divine guidance
but shias believe 12 imams who r even superior to prophets
thanks you have admitted ....there is difference between ale mu hammed ....and as Han e mu hammed .....ale mu hammed ...are grieved ...party.....as SONS of greatest companions supported ...all out ...against ale mu hammed ......still saying yid r.a ......[despite yid ...born after 6/7 years of death of holy prophet..]...and Major sahib SONS bowed before him ....supported him ....this is the most fatal mistakes
I agree brother. They calls Allah (Set) a liar, Prophet (Saw)'s status below Mahdi, Prophet (Saw)'s wife's bad women and Sahab hypocrites. the only mo min is their '' Hidden imam ''.
I am not a Muslim, but I've learned about Islam in school. From what I understand, the main dispute between Sunni and Shi'a Muslims is who was the successor to the throne after Mohamed. Correct? What I don't understand is why these two groups are still in dispute. I mean this happened such a long time ago, why can't the two groups just get along now and forget what happened so many years ago? I am just trying to see if there is more to this, thanks to anyone who can clear that up.
The Shina are like a mixture between the Jews and the Christians.
The Shina are like Jews in one sense, because the Jews deny Isa (as) and call him a liar etc. Similarly the Shina accuse those people who aided the prophet Muhammed (saw) with lies and hypocrisy.
The Shina are like Christians on the other hand, because the Christians have elevated Isa (as) to the point of godhood. Just like the Shina have made gods out of Ali (Ra) and Hussain (Ra) and ranking them above prophets, calling upon them in there moment of weakness etc.
The Muslims (Sunnis) are however very muslim like in that they take the middle path.
whats more, is that i would like to share the fatwa that re firms your position regarding the shies:
Praise be to Allah.
Rapprochement between the Raafidah (i.e. Shia) and the Sunnis is not possible, because their beliefs are different.
The belief of Ahl AL-Sunnah WA?l-Jamaa?ah is Tawheed or the oneness of Allaah and devoting worship sincerely to Allaah alone, and that no one can be called upon alongside Him, no angel who is close to Him and no Prophet who was sent, and Allaah is the only one who knows the unseen. It is part of the belief of Ahl al-Sunnah to love the Sahaabah (may Allaah be pleased with them all) and to be pleased with them, and to believe that they are the best of Allaah's creation after the Prophets, and that the best of them are Abu Bakr, then ?Umar, then ?Uthmaan, then ?Ali (may Allaah be pleased with them all).
The Raafidis are the opposite of that, so it is not possible to reconcile between them, just as it is not possible to reconcile between the Jews, Christians and idolaters and Ahl al-Sunnah. Similarly it is not possible to achieve rapprochement between the Raafidis and Ahl al-Sunnah, because of the difference in beliefs as we have explained. End quote.
Majmoo? Fataawa Ibn Baaz (27/325)
Even I have now realized how BLANTANLY dull the shias are when it comes for them to answer, in unequivocal terminology the following questions:
-where in the Quran is Imamate mentioned?
-WHY do your curse the FIRST three Khalifas? were they 'enemies of Hazrat Ali R.A.? so why did a person go against the norms and name his own children 'Umar' and 'Abu Bakr'?
-Why do you consider Mutah as a lawful form of marriage? would you give your own mother/sister/daughter for mutah?
-why do you hate the sunnis? why so much hatred? why so many allegations that you cnt back up with evidence eg we love killers of ahlebait, we idolize and worship the first three khalifas?
do your hearts really tell you that the 90% of Muslims worldwide are on the wrong track?
-Why do you call all your Imams and Ahle bait A.S.? would calling them R.A. hinder their already exalted status?
and the list goes on and on and on.
Hope i answered the question. (and raised a few more for the sole purpose of eliminating any unjust mistrust among muslims)
May Allah guide us all to the rightful path i.e.Islam, the ONLY way of living ones life.
as mentioned in the Quran and explained by the lifestyle of the Holy Prophet Sallallahu Alaihi wassallam.
Ameen, Ya Rabb al Aalameen. (i.e. be it so, Oh, Lord of the worlds)
There's no such thing as Sunni and Shiaa we are all Muslims and we shouldn't have separated into sects in the first place. So lets not increase the rifts between us.
James you are absolutely right the main conflict was a historical one and that was about who is to succeed after our prophet. Today's conflict is mainly about politics and stupidity because at the end of the day we all follow or should follow the Qumran our main guidance.
