Default Vegetarianism and Taoism?

Is there anyone out there who is a vegetarian and is also either interested in Taoism or a practicing Taoist? Can i get some book and/or website suggestions?

I am not a Taoist. As part of the Taoists' practice, followers have incorporated lifestyle rituals, such as vegetarianism, herbal and tactile medicinal approaches, good moral conduct, and the use of appropriate incantations, amulets, and charms. T'ai Chi Ch'uan, with its fusion of energetic and relaxed exercise, has provided a means of increasing and enhancing Chi (or Qi), the vital force of life. The overall goal of Taoists' life is to attain harmony with the Tao. This means one must desire nothing, live simply, and act by not acting. It is a practice where solitude and individualism is cherished and where the "upper classes" of social standing are rejected.

Yes, I'm reading about Taoism. I recommend reading Tao Te Ching (there are so many translations on line that you can Google). It's best to deeply reflect on each chapter and find your own meaning in them. I like to discuss them with a friend.

i also enjoyed Yorgo, bod hi seed Mala's (oiled, not aired out, thus they stunk like Chinese food) and i shopped on eBay much for supplies of incense (hoop, Tibetan incense) and meditation supplies also... it's great to sit back, breathe through the diaphragm and study the tao... stinking the dwelling your enjoy up with tibetan incense and making a good space overall for your home, mind and of course the body.
