I barely know anything of any of them. But, I have a Friend who dabbles in Taoism & Christianity. (Why settle for "close" when you can have "dead on"?)

Tao Te Ching is very close to what Christ was teaching... in fact there are a great many parallels there.

But keep in mind, the Christianity you hear these days is not based on the Sermon on the Mount... but is more closely related to what Paul was preaching... He is the self-declared apostle who came along after Christ was gone. Click on my avatar if you want more info on this mix-up.

Closest to Christianity as in mainstream Christians? Taoism. If you are talking about Christianity as in True Christian, none.

I don't know much about Shintoism, but between Taoism and Confucianism, I would say Confucianism. There are many differences between them, but both Confucianism and Christianity encourage a similar morality by promoting "right" values. Whereas Taoist philosophy teaches the need for a balance between "good" and "evil", rather than a complete riddance of "evil".

In a nutshell, Shintoism is the indigenous religion of Japan and is essentially a polytheist religion, influenced by Taoism, Buddhism and Confucianism. Taoism is difficult to describe as a religion; it is much more a philosophical attempt to describe the universe and its principles without making a judgment about 'good' or 'evil'. Confucianism is system of moral and ethical values governing the interaction between the state and the people.

Although Confucianism is not necessarily a 'religion' in the traditional definition, it probably comes closest to Christianity because, like Christianity, or Islam for that matter, it prescribes what behavior is 'right' and 'wrong'.
