Do you prefer the teachings of Hinduism, Buddhism or Taoism?
While i am a Christian, I've been doing some reading on these religions and have found them all quite enthralling, and, while they all share obvious similarities, I definitely have formed a clear preference for one of them. How about you?
I personally hold the strongest affinity for Hinduism, I would have to do more research to fully support any kind of solid logic as to why, but I know that the many concepts within Braman seems to tap into so many facets of human development as well as scientific understanding. It truly is amazing that such ancient humans could come up with those theories.
Beyond that...all religions when practiced properly are a path to enlightenment. The teachers who are the best teachers let us be our own guide in finding God.
I'm not all that familiar with Taoism, but I seem to like Buddhism more, since it focuses more on perfection (or happiness/semi-perfection) here on Earth
Buddhism and Sikh. I don't really like Hinduism religion for a reason ;P.
See I like Sikh because it teach you to how live like normal unlike Christian or Hinduism. Sikh don't believe in hell or heaven or worship cow or any kind of myths.
Religiously, I dislike all of them, but if I had to pick one, I'd rather be a Buddhist.
Philosophically, I'm most inclined toward Taoism, but Buddhism is a close second.
In both cases, Hinduism comes in dead last in my opinion. I have much less affinity with Hinduism, except where it obviously serves as the precursor for many Buddhist beliefs.
My personal favorite is Hinduism, though I haven't really studied Taoism. For some reason I've been fascinated with Hinduism lately. It's refreshing not to see people bashing religion.
