The main religion of China, it has very similar goals, ethics, and ideals compared to Buddhism, it is like Islam and Judaism compared to Christianity, there are some big differences but they are all very similar.

Taoist propriety and ethics emphasize the Three Jewels of the Tao: compassion, moderation, and humility. Taoist thought generally focuses on nature.

Taoism (Daoism) is an ancient Chinese philosophy developed by Lao Tzu, a figure that is legendary that predates Christianity. It's main message is not to contend against the Tao (the way), and not to strive, and being a low key pacifist.

Its key book is the Tao Teh Ching.

Taoism is the seeking for understanding of the Tao.

It is
The fast and the slow.
The large and the small.
The darkness and the light.
The conscious and the unconscious.
The Tao is all things and is nothing.

For one cannot exist without the other, and because of this, they exist as one.
