I have to create a presentation board and short oral report about Taoism.
Any ideas for some key points i should include?
in my report i discussed the history of the texts, grotto heavens, and some beliefs.
any suggestions??
Taoism is a fascinating belief! In what I have read about it, the concept that has always stuck out in my head is that of illuminated darkness, a place where light and dark coexist instead of can celling one another out. It has admittedly been years since I've read anything about it, but that always stood out to me.
Taoism itself says that if you try to define it - you are already missing the point, because it is indefinable.

Taoism promotes purity and naivety. Clearing the mind from all knowledge. It does not mean that it promotes ignorance... it is the clearing of the mind from all Prue conceived knowledge that one attained and try to dismiss it. It is quite a hard concept. (How about displaying a clean slate... sorry - bad sense of humor).
