How is Taoism, Confuciasm, and Christianity similar?

They're equally bullshit.

All three, have in common, the following themes;

1) the idea of the rights of human beings.

2) the golden rule, although only vaguely expressed in Taoism.

3) the idea of moderation, humility, honesty and compassion, in fact, Jesus says of the pharisees, that they were an arrogant, unkind brood of vipers. Its part of the reason they worked with the Romans to have him crucified.

4) Finally, in that all three beliefs systems were put together by men who lived a large part of their lives as sort of hermits.

all are religions

A lot of people tend to think they are religions.
Christ was a man not a god.
Confucianism is a moral philosophy not a religion.
Taoism is an ontological philosophy not a religion.
But many people do not really go that deep.

To the best of my knowledge, they aren't.

not very similar

A Taoist attempts to eradicate personal desire in the interest of being in harmony with the Tao.

A Christian puts absolute trust in god and allows god's will to be the guiding force in his life.

The common element is relinquishing con troll of your destiny to a higher power.

Taoism, Confucianism, and Christianity are similar in the sense that they all believe that they are the (TRUE WAY) to "Find God" !
