I don't see a whole lot in common, actually. Taoism focuses on nature and how it binds the universe. Taoism has prophets, or teachers, that set a standard. Like Buddhism.

Deism has no specific founder, or teacher. I also think that deists see a Creator, but there is no one way to see that Creator.
