Can I do voodoo without being considered "evil" like being followed by demons?

I want to do Voodoo just for fun, you know like try it with my friends.
But I dint want to be considered "evil", and followed by Demons or some thin, because what some people say about Voodoo seems really scare..
Is this a good idea???

Vodou is a religion. If you want to learn about the religion then you need to find a house and learn from a Mambo or Hougan.
