Is voodoo real? How to go about removing a spell from yourself?

So I just made enemies with this lady I use to work with. She's from Africa and spoke like this weird language. I never did anything to her. She just stopped talking to me one day. Out of no where. whatever. Ever since that weird things been happening to me. I was partially deaf when I walked into my job one night from 1 ear and I ended up in the ER because it just affected my work and now I have like this twitch in my eye that started the day I quit my job. I didn't quit because of her I hated it. I don't know if it's voodoo but It's just affecting me and I'm stressed the hell out. So today I'm sitting on my couch I look away from my lap top and look back and threes one of my mothers rings sitting on the keyboard. ?????? is that a warning sign like you better watch your mother? No one put it there. I was totally alone in the living room and that ring was no were to be found. Maybe I'm just being paranoid. IDK man its just creepy. My right eye has been twitching and it feels like something is there. I'm so stressed.

Nah. I have a voodoo doll and it does squat. The spells I did for my sister never worked. *laughs*

Oh, please. Don't be one of those people who has to find an outside source to blame for everything; sometimes stuff just happens.

By the way, most people would have called what the woman spoke a foreign language, not a weird language. Think how English must have sounded to her. I am assuming that she spoke English. If she did she is one up on you by being bilingual, which I am also assuming you are not.

Well, Shanti up there is probably best to ask about Voodoo specifically.

However, I can give you a few pointers on curse removal from my grab-bag of systems... but you're going to have to contact me for those. I'm not going to type them out just to be ignored.

A) Voodoo doesn't come from Africa, it's a combination of Christian and African beliefs. While there are magical practitioners in Africa, they don't use voodoo.
B) Ear infections are natural occurrences, it doesn't take a curse to cause them.
C) Eye tics are a common stress indicator. Loss of a job - even by quitting - can be a major stress or. So can thinking that you've been cursed.

However, there is a chance that you are under some form of attack, so here's what you can do: clean your house thoroughly, preferably with an organic citrus-based cleaner. Pay special attention to the bathroom, you'll be using it. While you're doing this, get rid of anything - and I do mean ANYTHING - that she gave you.

If you have a bathtub:
Get some rosemary, basil and sage (yes, you can find these in any supermarket - that's why I'm suggesting them!) and put them in a tea ball or a cheesecloth bundle. Get some sage, lemon, or cinnamon-scented candles (I like the ones that combine sage and citrus for this best - they go very well with the bath herbs) and take them into the bathroom. Put the rosemary, basil and sage combination into the full bathtub, and take a bath in the herb-infused water with the candles burning. Breathe in the scents of the candles and the water, and let yourself feel the freshness of the scents clear all the negative energies out of your system, pushing it all out into the water. Make sure to get every inch of yourself squeaky-clean and when you're done, open up the drain and sit in the tub while it drains. Feel all that nastiness wash away from you, flowing down the drain.

If you only have a shower:
Get the same kind of candles as for the bath. Get a lemon/citrus or lavender scented soap and moisturizer (again, preferably organic or all-natural). Before you take the shower, spend some time focusing on how you want to feel clean and stress-free. As you take your shower, take your time and make sure to get every inch clean, again focusing on the smell of the herbs coming into your system and pushing all the nastiness out and letting the water wash it all away and down the drain.

If you've gotten rid of anything that links you to her, and you do this properly, AND you have no contact with her after this, it should take care of the problem. If it doesn't, find a metaphysical / crystal shop and see if the folks there can point you towards someone who does curse breaking.
