It might sound weird to you, but to play Wicca is a very dangerous game, look for the movie with that title and you will find out, that is not a game that you can play with it.
I am so sorry for you. I think there is a true magic. The magic of
joy and peace that passes all understanding, but it doesn't come from witchcraft. It's creator is God.

that can lead you down a path of mental and emotional destruction, and curse your family generation for years to come! In this 21st century there are plenty of people who believe in angels, gods, miracles and magic. Why shouldn't you believe something similar to that.

Not weird. Good for you for trying new things. Maybe Wicca will be the right choice for you. There are lots of books & websites on the subject... I trust you know how to use Google? And don't worry about going down the "wrong path". There are many paths to enlightenment, and someone Else's "right" one may be the wrong one for you.
It doesn't sound weird. Though, fair warning, once you buy one book and read it, you've basically read them all. I suggest, if you are wanting something authentic is to read some history books first, before just jumping into the Mainstream idea of what "witchcraft" is.
Do you feel the energy of the water as the waves roll gently ashore? Do you feel the energy of the air as the wind blows gently across your skin? Can you feel the energy of the earth beneath your bare feet? Can you feel the energy of a warm crackling fire? Can you feel the energy of the great spirit when you mediate or pray? If you answered yes then I would suggest that you start to "study" the craft or paganism in general before you begin to "practice" it. After all, you would study for a big exam so you should for a new path that wish to explore.
P.S. You will learn in your studies that there is evil. That most do not follow. And they do not worship nor do they believe in Satan.
Kids are attracted to Wicca because they are dissatisfied with conventional bible-only Christianity; they are seeking better control in the world around them; are lonely and want to make new friends. I don?t see anything wrong with these motives. However, there is an alternative.
You can become a Catholic.
-Your parents will think it?s another teen phase.
-Your neighbors won?t like you anymore.
-Your so-called friends, out of media generated prejudice, will tease you about the things the .002% bad priests did and blame the whole Church for it.
-Bible-only Christians will try to ?save? you because they are brainwashed by a constant stream of lies on their web sites and books, and from ignorant ministers.
-You get to eat the Flesh of the Son of Man and Drink His Blood.
-You can help other people with a spiritual dimension. Tons of opportunities there!
-You can be part of a faith community.
-Your children will grow up with a solid faith foundation.
-Catholic Church has the fullness of truth and grace.
-You can have deep spiritual wounds healed, and grow into healing others.
-You can discover the freedom in truly forgiving others, and be given the means to do.
-Have your mistakes forgiven.

The Catholic Church offers BOTH religious and mystical experiences that feed the heart, the mind the body and the soul AS WELL AS an array of active lay ministries that interface and interact with the secular world in order to make it a holier world to live in.

No, no its not weird. Generally when people like to do witch craft (Wicca, magi ck, or etc) it means they think they need some sort of connection with the earth. I am not trying to put you down or anything. Do what makes you happy. Don't listen to some dumb*** that doesn't know anything about you. Just do it. You live once (or are reincarnated sometimes, etc.).
I would ask you what you hope to gain from this experience? If you follow the misconception that the craft is evil, and for personal gain, then I suggest that you should think again. However, If you are trying to find a connection with Mother Earth, then you are on the right path.
