Default Becoming a chaplain (of Wicca) in the Army?

How hard and what is the process to become a Wicca chaplain, in the US Army? I'm leaving in May for BCT. I'm aware that a large number of Wiccans are in the military. Does anyone has any thoughts or comments.

if you haven't tried already, log-in to AKO and read the Wicca board-- I'm sure this issue has an answer there.

Hmm...interesting question. As far as I know, there are no Chaplin's who practice Wicca in any military branch. (Or at least preach it, I should say). Because of this, I'd imagine it would be rather difficult. To be a Chaplin, one must first have a degree in a religion, and I don't think Wicca is yet considered a "serious" religion among collage communities...meaning you can't get a degree in it. Wish I could help you out more, but I don't know much about it.
You might be able to get better help talking to your recruiter about it. He'll probably know better about it than anyone else on here.

I was doing some surfing to answer another question when I found this link (your question instantly came to mind). I thought you may want to check out. It's an excerpt on Wicca from the U.S. Army Chaplins' Handbook.

There are Chaplains for just about every denomination or belief You can think of. Contact your recruiter or through your career counselor from your school / Collage. They might be able to help you out.

It's not really that hard, all you have to do is research it's not that hard. But there is one draw back, you MUST be imitated by a practicing COVEN. Plus YOU CAN NOT start a coven unless you are imitated first.
