Default Is Hermes and Selene a good combination to have as your god and goddess in Wicca?

Is Hermes and Selene a good mix to be your god and goddess in Wicca? I fell drawn to each of them. No negative comments please. Thanks

Whatever you feel drawn to. If you feel it's the right combo, go for it.

We follow those who call to us. It's really none of my business who is calling specifically to you. I am wondering why you're asking for approval from strangers, however.

As you continue your studies, do be aware of whether you actually feel a connection with these figures, or whether they just appeal to you. For example, my entire life I've always really liked Athena in Greek mythology. But as a Wiccan, I've never felt an actual calling from her. Not a drop. There's no connection, just an academic interest in her.

I personally feel that if you feel you have a calling, no one should really get in the way of that... but of course the smart thing to do is some heavy research so if you are being called you will understand and honor Them well

Actually, in Wicca, it is just the goddess, only one goddess and only one god, the focus was centered around the goddess though, which is why many women who practiced were lesbians, to appreciate the way of the goddess, and appreciate the female body and soul. However, in some forms of modern practice, people have chosen to adopt the Greek gods. Hermes - a messenger and protector. Selene - a lunar goddess. I suppose if you feel drawn to them then that is what you should chose, however, take it all into consideration, and try not to limit yourself to one goddess or god unless you have been practicing for quite some time. I practiced for a year before I set a specific goddess and god, the reason being, once you chose, you can't change it. Well, I suppose you could, but you'd probably piss them off.
