i don't think so..i only did one and i am not a Wicca and it was when my ex husband left me for his mistress.. i cried and burned his photo and because i knew he was getting married to her the minute our divorce was final i ask god to make their union for ever.. they have been married for almost 30yrs. both cheated on each other lots of time..

ha ha your spell didn't work because you cast it on another person without their permission. you can't control people like that, they make their own choices.
and yeah Wicca is a religion not a plaything. protection spells don't protect you from being harmed- its not a magical shield you've made around yourself that will stop anything bad happening to you ever again. a Wicca spell is very much like prayer, its just done a bit differently. it's all about sending your energies out into the world, asking for a certain outcome. i spent years casting love spells hoping that I'd find my true love. i was 17 and NOT ready for true love- i was an insecure idiot who burned the hearts of anyone who tried to love me. how was a love spell meant to work when my own actions prevented it?!

Wicca definitely isn't about casting spells. Wicca is a religion. Witchcraft is more along the lines of spell work. I practice both. Yes, what couple spells I did worked. One was for to help with getting a little more money coming my way because we were pregnant and were getting buried in medical bills while waiting for medical insurance to kick in. We now have all the bills paid off because I found a couple saving bonds I saved since I was born. The other one was to help my best friend heal emotionally and to keep her safe (with her permission, of course). She ended up getting out of drugs and has been clean for a few years.
Of course, you can't just cast a spell and expect it to work instantly. It takes time, and it also takes you doing your own physical effort as well. You can't just sit around and watch everything happen.
Wicca is a religion. Wiccan Witchcraft is the magic part which is a type of magic that is heavily influenced by the Wiccan philosophies. Learn the difference, please.
As for spells, of course they work. Not all the time, mind you, but they work. After all, why would we keep doing spells if they didn't work?
