Get books, they're the most helpful. Try the Internet, there are a lot of forums who wild be willing to help you. And mostly remember to not let people tell you what you're doing is wrong in any way. Misinformation kills.

Sully Erna from Godsmack is a devout Wiccan. Ask him.

I have a book by the awesome author Scott Cunningham titled "Wicca, A Guide For The Solitary Practitioner". It's really helpful and can be found in virtually any Barnes and Noble or Borders Buy it! It's about $11.00.

Most Wiccans do practice on their own, even the ones that belong to covens.

How to start? That depends on what type. If you want to practice traditional Wicca as a solitary, you'd first have to be trained by a coven, then leave the coven and work as a solitary only. IF you want to go the non-trad route, you can study through books like Scott Cunninghams "Wicca for the Solitary Practitioner."

Celebrating Sabbats is a little lonely when done alone, I find. Esbats lend themselves more to private celebration, but can also be difficult to maintain the motivation to do one every month if you are solitary. That said, there are plenty of ways to honor these holidays one ones own as well as countless ways to celebrate on a daily basis.
Meditate, pray, garden, participate in athletic activities, hike in the wilderness, study forms of divination etc etc etc...

It utterly depends on where you go to learn.

I honestly think that Buckland's "complete witchcraft" which is a problematic book in other ways is actually a better and more comprehensive system than Cunningham's Wicca: A guide for the Solitary practitioner. Of course, that's because his Seax-Wicca tradition was always something one could do as a solitary (being a solitary and having a tradition are not related-solitaries can belong to traditions, either as members of traditions with Solitaries, or when between covens in traditions where it is frowned upon.)

I think even people who belong to a coven also practice on your own.

Wicca is first and foremost about your worship of God and Goddess, and how you live in the world by Wiccan principles.
