Default I have a question about Wicca?

I've been having a hard time deciding on which Goddess/God to worship. Im a very young Wicca and I've been struggling lately.
I was thinking to worship Artemis and Apollo but the thing is I envisioned my God and Goddess to be a couple, not siblings.
So a few Questions:
1)Would it be okay just to worship a Goddess?
2)Which God/Goddess do you recommend?

Thank you! Blessed Be~ )O(
Hehe I feel bad for you arrogant Christians, you must feel so high and mighty to put down another religion.
Just remember, if your God is loving he will accept me and my faith. you should be ashamed, people like you are the reason other GOOD Christians are put to shame. Is it not true that God loves all his children? Hmm someone should really be more educated. I dint thrash your religion and please do not thrash mine. Its the 21st century, lets move on. Warm Blessings to all your families.

There is only one God, no goddess. Wicca is a lie of the devil, and a way to keep you from worshiping the one true God.

Edit:
My God does not accept any other so called Gods, because he calls them idols. He also says if you are not with him you are against him.

Deteronomy 10: 10 There shall not be found among you any one that Maker his son or his daughter to pass through the fire, or that Seth divination, or an observer of times, or an enchanter, or a witch.

11 Or a charmer, or a consult er with familiar spirits, or a wizard, or a necromancer.

12 For all that do these things are an abomination unto the LORD: and because of these abominations the LORD thy God doth drive them out from before thee.

1) Well you can, but it's generally not considered Wicca after you drop the God.
2) Don't choose. Let them reveal themselves to you.

I believe you can worship any God or Goddess who calls to you, if you feel like worshiping one Goddess, than go for it. I am not Wiccan but I am a Hathaali, (a Navajo Shaman) and we worship "The Changing Woman" a sort of Mother earth figure. So I believe in many gods and Goddess also.

So, Ya' at' eh, (Navajo for All is good, a traditional greeting and blessing), my friend.

Yes there is some Wiccans that worship just a goddess and i don't have any recommendations i worship all the god's and goddess's. I personally would recommended to worship all of them because to me all of them represent one thing if that made any scene Lil.
Hope i helped.

Definitely Artemis (although I am very biased about this). Can't beat a kind sweet and loving woman that terrifies any man who may have bad intentions. Also, she is a gentle caretaker of nature, and if you try harming nature, she will implant an arrow in your head...pretty cool.

While not a worshiper, per say, of any deity, I would think that it would be okay to worship one, as long as you hold others in reverence.

You should worship the gods that call you. Simply listen, and you'll figure it out.

The way witches perceive the deity is also somewhat different from the way mainstream religions perceive it. Some witches honor only the Goddess, though they may see her through the faces of many different cultures and historical times. Others revere the God as well. To some, divinity is one being, though it shows a masculine and a feminine side. To others, there are two distinct deities, one male and one female.
The Goddess and God are everywhere: not in some special place like a church, but in every part of our lives. Or religion is one of the earth. The Goddess and God live within each of us, and we live within them. The divine is part of the world? is the world.
Divinity is a concept that humans have developed to help us understand the part of spirituality that will not fit into words or even ideas that can be fully formulated and rounded out. We clothe the numinous in symbols and forms taken from the world we can see, hear, touch, and taste, for we cannot give shape to it in any other way. Because we are creatures of matter, we best understand a reality that appears solid to us. Our minds may be able to conceptualize more abstract hypotheses, but our hearts relate best to something we can feel and we can recognize with our senses.

Meditate on it, and eventually they will give you the answer. Be patient.

This is the kind of thing you don't force. No one can tell you. It's more like a calling.

If you truly want to find a specific God & Goddess, I would say read mythology books and learn more about them; eventually one will hit a cord in you.

I personally believe one of the ultimate goals of Wicca was intended to be balance-- I don't see how anyone can worship just Goddess... but sure, you can have a patron Goddess (or God). You don't have to worship them as a matched set.

But I don't think the choice should be rushed, or forced. Divine energy is divine energy; it doesn't matter what form in which you reach out to it. Pray, meditate, connect... A personalized God or Goddess will emerge as you form your relationship with the Divine Source.

Dearest Aradia,
Merry meet and Blessed greet! To answer your questions, YES! It is absolutely appropriate to worship, invoke, or pray to "simply"... the Mother Goddess! Truly, it is my sincere conviction that most if not all "Goddess" energy pools; or each face of the the Goddess is a unique energy of the Feminine Divine.
Thus, simply speaking out to the Mother Goddess is completely appropriate! This is a good idea for you until YOU decide which version of Her you decide is best fit for your Wicca, Spirituality, and Craft.
Truly no one can tell you which face of the Divine is best for you. For it is from your Will, Spirit, and relationship to the Universe that will decide such. Also, it is o.k. to be "eclectic in such!
I would recommend studying various cultures in your ancestral history, or just what you feel most drawn to, take your time; and remember it comes from you! My Wicca is True to me as it is my perception of the Arts and Wicca; as it arises from my perception...the greatest manifestation of true Will! What works for one Witch may not work for another, but that does not mean it isn't true or real!
Thus my recommendation is to research, study, and feel! Pray, meditate; what do you feel instinctively...the answer lay within YOU!

Don't sweat it Wicca is about learning, experiencing and growing personally and spiritually.

Continue to communicate with your gods in their anonymous state. As you become more familiar with their personalities and study different pantheons, you'll figure it out. It's not something you need to have figured out overnight. Just worship the God and Goddess as you have been and wait for them to reveal themselves to you.
