Wicca and witchcraft is a rising practice of a faith found all over the globe now. Yes, there are many Wiccan Covens in England; however, it is widespread everywhere.

I live in Pennsylvania, PA and we have at least 2 covens in every town here.

If you are having a hard time looking for a coven, try out Wilcox.com. Its a great search tool and you can ask around with the Covens in England and then ascertain how many Wiccans are there.

Wicca was invented in the 1900s by Gerald Gardner, in England, yes. Wicca is a modernized and adopted religion, meaning, he took all the things he liked from different religions and threw them all together. True witchcraft is not organized religion, once u start a coven, it becomes organized. However, there are even very expensive schools who teach Wicca, as well as your wide variety of covens.

Yes it most definitely is, along with a number of other paganGand reconstructionist groups.

If you are interested in reading more about Wicca and other forms of paganism then get yourself a copy of "Triumph of the Moon" by Proff Ronald Hutton.
