I don't understand this girl when it comes to this story on Wicca...?

Okay. My girlfriend told me she is a Wiccan. And I'm totally fine by it. But here is the thing.
(Denise) is my girlfriend's best friend and she is also a Wiccan. But the part which i honestly don't believe at all is that (Denise) says alto of phone stuff. Like how she is an all powerful witch and that she is the ''chosen one'' to save the whole world on the day of 2012 and that she is the one to lead a group of people into that war, which she chose my girlfriend to be apart of. Overall the whole thing sounds over dramatic and some bull. And whats even more dumb is that my girlfriend believes it at heart. So please tell me. Does the Wicca religion really a ''chosen one'' to save us all? Or am i not the only one who thinks this girl is making all of this up. :/
