It (like any other religion) does have its problems. There are many who follow it that consider it an ancient religion when in fact it is not. Those who so loudly proclaim that there rites and rituals are Prue-Christian make the whole lot look like a bunch of loons. If I were Wiccan, I would consider being treated like a crazy person a problem.
answer: no offense to Wiccans and pagans but - you have got to be kidding. Go through a couple of flame/witch wars and you'll find there are problems everywhere and in every religion, Wicca included.
Because you haven't looked at Wicca very closely, apparently.
It's origins are a modern fabrication, so its alleged connections to anything ancient or Celtic are murky, and any religion where basically anything goes simply doesn't carry much meaning behind it.
I guess that might not be a problem -- but Wicca is spirituality lite, at best.
So sure -- "and it harm no one, do what you will..." No one would have a problem with that, I guess. It's just not a thought that is original to Wicca, though.
Can you elaborate? What do you mean by 'problems'? Also, have you checked out Unitarian Universalism? Or any of the Reconstructionist Pagan movements, such as Celtic and Heathen?
Wicca (Which for those who think it is just under a modern structure forget there are many branches under that title.) Does have problems, like those from Christians, those from other branches of Wicca who claim that if you are not a part of their branch you aren't Wiccan. There are many other problems, these are but a few.
Hope this helps.
spiritually lite??? Not in my practices.
