Default Witch/Wicca books for adults?

I recently spent a while watching series 1-8 of Charmed and I enjoy watching Heroes and Medium. Although, i would prefer it if they where books. Any adult books about witches or witchcraft? No teenage stuff please. Thank-you.

Is Charmed really based on real Wicca? I've never seen it. If you're looking for adult books, don't read Silver Ravenwolf. I really liked The Circle Within by Diane Sylvan and Celebrating Wiccan Spirituality by Lady Sabrina. I've heard Scott Cunningham's books were a great place to start, but I haven't read them. This one looks good too:

Good luck on your path and blessed be.

Not sure what you are looking for (novel or how-toes). I suggest Witchcraft: Theory and Practice

You can browse more here to find closer to what you want....

Yasmine Galenorn's D'Artigo sisters series is good. You might also check into the Women of the Otherworld series by Kelley Armstrong or Spellbinder by Rawn. If you're interested in nonfiction, Adler's Drawing Down the Moon is a good book on modern Wicca, and I think Galenorn also has some how-to books on Wiccan practice.

do you mean fiction novels, or books on how to become Wiccan?

If you want books about Wicca itself, start with books by Scott Cunningham, he was very well respected in the Wicca community. You may also like Kate West and Deborah Blake.

If you meant novels about witches, try the Sookie Stackhouse series, and the Mayfair Witch collection by Anne Rice. Also the Sweep series by Cate Tiernan are good too, they are labeled as young adult, but I know lots of people that have read them.

I almost forgot as someone said above do stay away from Silver Ravenwolf.

Sylvan's The Circle Within is great, as is Earth, Air, Wind and Water by Scott Cunningham. I also like The Spiral Dance and The Pagan Book of Living and Dying by Starhawk.
