What do you think about Wicca or general Paganism, or other Earth-centered religions? Do you think it's a good path, or do you think it's damnable? Please give more than a sentence or so- I'm really curious as to what other people think!
It's better than monotheistic religions, but it's still theism so I believe it incorrect. Though one of my favorite rules for life is from Wicca - Do whatever you want as long as you're not hurting yourself or others.
Speaking as a Wiccan, the only real reason for anyone to follow any religion is because they believe in it.
If you believe in our religion, then follow it. If you do not, then do not. There is no penalty for not being Wiccan. Not all are called, and not all who are called answer.
Also, the term "Earth-Centered" is nonsense, but do as you will.
Concidering that I am Wiccan this is going to be very biased.
I think that it is an amazing religion because it encourages you to find your own religious experience and information. The heart of Wicca cannot be defined in a book because it is a very personal experience. I think that it is a good thing that people have to find their own way because I feel Blondy following others isn't a good thing. I think that it is good that in Wicca you cannot blame your pro blames on a devil figure and that you cannot expect the gods to help but instead you have to work for it. I like that in Wicca all life is respected equally. I think it is a great thing that you cannot just ask for forgiveness but instead you have to pay for what you did and get rewarded for the good things that you did, it is good to be responsible. I like the personal connection that we have with our gods and it that we can honor them without turning into their slaves.
As a practitioner of a pagan faith, I'm sure you can guess my opinion. I find them to be wonderful religions filled with just as much hope and promise as any other... but just like any other religion, the people who practice them are human and can be susceptible to weaknesses and prejudices. Mostly, I find pagans to be nice in general.

As a Pagan myself I believe Paganism and other Earth-cent red paths to be very healing. They enable you to reconnect with the cycles of the Earth and so learn to stop and contemplate as the year changes. Also, most Pagan paths are relatively free from dogma, allowing the individual to express their own spirituality fully without the constraints of traditional Religion. Paths such as Druidry and Asatru encourage us to embrace our heritage and better understand and appreciate our culture (whatever culture that may be).
