Why do Christian?s reject Wicca so harshly? Is it because of the Witchcraft?
And does it say anything about Wicca/Paganism in the Bible? If so, what verses?
I also want to know why the Churches say 'Come as you are, God loves you', but I've been told by my preacher that if I -- or anyone else -- is a homosexual, we'll be damned to Hell? What's up with that? I thought that the preacher was someone to look up to, not someone to tell you that you'll be punished because you love someone.
Wicca might be compatible with Christianity but Christianity is not compatible with Wicca. Jesus said you can not serve two masters. So you have to serve Jesus alone if you are a christian. Also witchcraft is forbidden in the bible.
There are a couple of scriptures .. One is about the witch of Endor. Some say the word is actually poisoner since this was part of the allure of working with herbs.

Homosexuality is forbidden in the old and new testaments as is all sex without a marriage partner.
Sin is sin, and no one sin is any worse than any other. It is not what you DO that sends you to hell, but the nature of your relationship to GOD. God does not expect you to be perfect in order to be forgiven, in fact, there is nobody that deserves heaven "for there is none righteous, no, not even one." Sex outside of marriage is considered a sin, but so is lying, or disobeying your parents, or neglecting to help someone in need. God forgives all of these equally.
Wicca is no different than any other non-Christian religion. Being Wiccan is no different than being an agnostic or a Buddhist. It is better than being Muslim, hell, at least Wiccans don't blow people up.
If you are homosexual, you are called to celibacy and service. This is the same for straights who are not married. Don't confuse sexual attraction with love. Lots of people make that mistake, both gay and straight.
Little one you are under a major attack by Satan/death! What vicunas worship is the same false god as the Muslim, the "it"/ him of many names is what the Muslim worship, and before it was called Allah the Arabic people called it Baal/beelzebub! And the earth god of Wicca is just one more false name for WHO?? Satan/death, if you notice every week someone who worships Wicca or satanic worshipers ask why is there so much death and sickness around them? Satan/death as with the muslim asks for them to kill themselves or someone else, and when in wicca or satanic worship satan secretly attacks them with sickness and death! It is what has killed every ancestor we have had and every family member of this day, it is the liar and murderer our Lord told us about long ago! So please do not ever worship anything other than the God who Heals you Exodus 15:26!

The goddess worshiped in Wicca (this is not commonly known or accepted) is the ex-wife of the god worshiped in Christianity. The enmity is innate.

They're similar in that only crazy people practice those beliefs. Christianity though (I have to admit) has become more socially acceptable and is actually a little less insane.
Wicca involves human manipulation (spells), manipulation of nature, freedom of sinning, horned deities, immoral (naked) worship, lawlessness, no guidance from the Almighty, distasteful rituals, etc.
People tend to hate what they don't understand or are unwilling to study to find truth. This called Ignorance and many people, including a TON of Christians, do this.
Wiccans are more open to everyone, including gays.
This does not make them evil or devil worshipers. They don't even BELIEVE in the devil or hell. Those are Christian and Jewish concepts.
And, most Christians reject a lot of people because of their "book", which is why I'm not a Christian. Why would I want to follow a religion that believes in a God that is SO judgmental, SO exclusive when "he" gave us FREE WILL?
It's all a fraud, I say. A form of control to make people follow their laws, and has been for 2000 years and even before that, if you're counting the Jewish bible.
as a Wicca i can only tell you what i have witnessed.
first thing i think is that a lot of them believe vicunas to worship the devil. myth
another is that it is an open religion. there is no set way for us to live or set things that every Wicca and i believe that this scares some Christians who are used to have the set ways and laws of the bible. truth
another is that they are scared of what might happen to them if they shake at all in their faith because they believe vicunas to have the power of Satan to do them harm. myth
the last reason i have noticed is vicunas get the answers from themselves and hold themselves high for having the relationship with the gods and goddesses. they are used to bowing at their god and some are put back by how vicunas put themselves at a high level with the gods and goddesses.
