I say it's new age nonsense. But don't let me ruin your day, get into it if that's what you're into...

Hippie girls having fun with their imaginations ... usually into self-sustaining "green" stuff like raising your own chickens for eggs, and lots of gardening, etc.

Complete nonsense, just like Christianity or any other religious belief ... but less structured, hence the allure.

Wicca is wicked . . . cool! I put a curse on my second-shift supervisor and he broke his neck on an office chair. Yeah, sat down, put his feet up on the desk, and broke his ****in' neck! There was foam and **** spurting from his mouth. Groovy!

An entertaining diversion, with some valuable lessons.

It's a nice religion has a pretty positive outlook on the world; but I could never practice it as I see it as "Thelema -lite" that is to say a less developed and generally less intense version of Thelema. [No offense meant towards Wiccans.]

Wiccan morality is ruled according to a modification of the Law of Thelema called the Wiccan Rede, which (in part) states "An it harm none, do what thou wilt." ("An" is an archaic word meaning "if".) Basically it puts the focus on personal responsibility, rather than a religious authority, which is good.

That it is a peaceful, loving, earthy faith that brings balance, harmony and a connection with all.

Just like any other religion that is against Christianity so is this that evil comes from. DO NOT be fooled by what they say about Wicca and that it's not bad. It most certainly IS !!!

It is fine, I cannot buy into a lot of it's beliefs but that does not make it evil or bad. And it is really none of my business if someone wants to practice it. Personally I think nature aught to be respected and appreciated, but it does not pull a hair if we worship it. I think that karma is an equal balancing of the ethical aspects of cause and effect, often in future lifetimes, not a thing that is magnified to 3 times what it was. It is a mystic tradition if I am correct, and that makes it kindred to my own spirituality. Mystic does not mean what you probably think it does.

Not my cup of tea, but there are many types of tea.
