Default What are your thoughts on Wicca/Paganism?

Also, what do you think of this Wiccan song?

Thanks.

To each his/her own. I find most of them sweet and caring. They do a lot more than you think. I am considered pagan but my beliefs are mine and mine only

I haven't actually met a Pagan that knew the meaning of the word "Pagan" or a Wiccan that knew what he/she actually believed in.I've never met one of either that didn't behave like an angst teen....and I've met a lot of them.At this point I just think "it's just a phase" or "living' with mom at 40"

They go against science COMPLETELY.

I would understand why people would have believed them before science, but now it's just pathetic.

Christ wanted us to know about and use our spiritual power. But in the right ways. Not imposing our will on others and situations. This creates karma for us, not only with humans but spiritual beings on other levels. That will have to be worked out later on.

I dislike it. Because it's hippie New Age music.
If I want good Pagan music I'll listen to Bathory.

If it helps them to be better people...go for it. However, the song is a bit silly.

I didn't look into the song. Wicca and paganism does not go against science (how?), we follow beliefs of the ancient cultures, some of it too me seems a little strange (but that is because it was created so long ago). You need to shape the beliefs into modern times. I see it as a religion of balance. The god and goddess representing masculine and feminine, the divine being that of BEING, the all, i describe the divine and the energy which makes the universe tick.

Don't watch you tube... Been a Wiccan 45+ years. What do you mean our thoughts? On what part of Wicca and Paganism? Wicca is an umbrella name for many polytheistic religions under the umbrella term Paganism. Neither are Witches yet there are witches who are both. Any other specific questions and I will answer.

I spend half my typical day on my "thoughts" about Wicca/Paganism. That's quite a lot of material to be typing in one go.

Wicca: Nice religion, beautiful and inspiring. Inspired me quite a bit when I was discovering my path and still does.

Paganism: Big category. I am an eclectic pagan. I have found a peace here that I couldn't have known otherwise.

That Wiccan song: Pretty, melodic... stupid "video" slide show... otherwise sounds like something I'd listen to while I was working on some handcrafting project... nothing I'd spend a dollar at tunes for though.
