Ok, so I'm making a Book of Shadows, and I have the 13 Principles, the law of 3 and the Rede, but I have no idea what else to put in it. (I'm going to add some spells later) But here's my question...
Can you give me some good ideas of things to include in my Book of Shadows please?? All answers are appreciated, and thanks!!!

Ok, for you two idiots down there, just answer me this. Why do you think Wicca is evil and Satanic?
Please enlighten me. Because as far as I'm concerned, I don't care about Hell or Heaven or Satan. I don't worship him or even care for him, and I'm sure a lot of Wiccans don't either, but that's just my opinion.
Whatever you want. Poems, songs parables that mean something to you. Herbal lore, mineral lore (if you believe in that kind of thing). Glossaries of spiritual or esoteric subjects or symbols.
Do a search on Yahoo--there are lots of great examples of BoS that people have made.
You need to calm down. The book of shadows is supposed to fill over time. You fill it with information, and other things you feel are important to you and your path. Do you think it took me one day to fill my 3+ inch book? HA! It took me almost 10 years to fill it!!
Be patient, the information will come.

Try making sure you have the authors and sources of the information you're using.
If you were copying from a traditional BOS, you would not have pages that didn't list the author, source and source tradition,for example...because passing down the rumor that something is from "all Wicca" instead of from a specific tradition is passing down a fib...icky.
Does your book include the 13 principles or "The American Council of Witches' "Principles of Wiccan Belief" (1974)" [And if it does, you should add who exactly the ACW was.]

Does it have "The Wiccan Rede" or does it have the POEM Rede of the Wiccae from the NECTW tradition [This is a very important distinction. The POEM has the Reed in it, but actually contains several lines that are contradictory to the teachings of other traditions, nothing wrong with that, but you should know the difference between the poem and the Reed.]

You might have the codes of ethics of others, but do you have YOUR code of ethics? that's an important thing, too.

i have made a b.o.s. and help some others. but what you need is the Wiccan Rede and other laws of conduct. Reflect on what ethics means in Wicca. u also need to re cored the 8 Sabbaths and abbots. (the Wicca holidays) and the rituals of the days. u need correspondents of things like the moon phases and color charts. wind, days, and direction charts and the meanings, different divination tools, and how to use them. info on the goddess and god. the stories. herbal charts. stone charts. casting the circles and spells. meditation exercises are very important. u also want to re cored Ur experience with Ur path in Wicca. what u feel when u meditate. what spell u do and how they turn out (remember to never cast a spell that will harm Ur self or anyone) but thats just a basic outline. theres so much more to put in one and everyones bos is different. just make it ur own. and everything u learn about wicca, recored it.

The Charge of the Goddess and God are usually place in the front of the Book to Bless it, as well as a dedication. I also have the Witches Creed, the Wiccan Rede, Spells, Herbs, Astrology, a Journal Section, Information on Moon Phases, the Elements, Ritual and Cirlce Casting, My "Firsts" a huge list of Goddess Deities, Poetry, Books Ive read and need to Read, Recipies, Meditations, and tons of other things Ive learned. DONT RUSH TO FILL IT, fill it up as you learn, with use full information and not "fluff"
