Scary dream, Wicca, NOT for the faint of heart, please help?
I had a dream that I came home (it didn't look like my house i live in real life, but in dream it was my house), i went upstairs and about 5 girls/witches ran out a room down the hall, and a deep dread filled my heart. I didn't go look but turned away and began praying. My brother, and mother and everyone else told me not to look, but I knew some man had been sacrificed and he then my father and uncle carried him out, his blood stained the hardwood floors. My brother imitated how he looked and my mother kept whispering how his chest had been cut open. It was a sacrifice, which craft was involved..
Witch:
To see a witch in your dream, represents evil and destruction. It may point to your negative ideas of anything feminine and your experiences with dangerous or heartless women.?Alternatively, a witch may be a symbol of goodness, power and enchantment depending on your feeling toward your dream witch.
Blood:
To dream that others are bleeding, signifies an emotional cry for help.
Praying:
To dream that you are praying, signifies respect, sincerity and humility. You are looking for help from a higher source. You need to relinquish your worries and let go of your old problems. More directly, the dream means that you need to pray more.?Alternatively, the dream may be a pun on "preying". Perhaps you are taking advantage of others or that someone is taking advantage of you.
Whispering:
To dream that someone is whispering in your ear, suggests that you need to pay closer attention to something or listen to someone more carefully. Alternatively, it represents your insecurities and anxieties that people are talking about your behind your back.
Family:
To see your own family in your dream, represents security, warmth and love. It could also symbolize bitterness, jealousy, or rivalry, depending on your relationship with your family. Alternatively, it could mean that you are overly dependent on your family, especially if the family members are in your recurring dreams .Consider also the significance of a particular family member or the relationship you have with them.?
It means you are obviously very frightened of something. I am not trying to be macho or anything, but I am not a very scared person. I never have bad dreams. I do no believe I have had one since I was twelve, which is the same time I started to think about my world rationally and discarded any belief in Christianity my family promoted. Personally, I find a lot of views in Christianity to be frightening, and I certainly do not want to live my life in a constant state of fear.
Wicca has absolutely nothing to do with your dreams.
That has nothing to do with the religion of Wicca... Wicca and Witchcraft are not the same thing. The dream is not about literal Wiccans or Witches, because the ideas come from horror movies not reality.
Dream interpretation is not an exact science.... but here are some things to think about
1) houses often represent ourselves; different rooms are different part of ourselves we need to explore.
2) Witchcraft probably represents "bad" things in your life that you feel are beyond your control.
3) Characters in our dreams are usually just ourselves, reflected, so the Witches are probably just you, and the number 5 represents usually action or daring; can represent the 5 senses (physical input).
4) Blood can represent a lot of things, from an emotional cry for help to your period as women dream of blood more when nearing or during menstruation.
5) sacrifice usually means the need to get rid of something, give it up. Death = transition; the end of one stage, beginning of another.
So if I had to guess I would say that there is some part of yourself, some negative emotion or trait that you need to explore and let go of (sacrifice) but you are afraid to face it or deal with it.
Your family (the part of your mind that wants to protect you and shield you from ugly things) is trying to keep you from facing things.
Or, it could just mean you have seen 1 too many horror movies and they were on your mind.
