I was browsing in religion(goo fin around),so I popped a question...some so-called witches popped up and all seemed nice w/nice answers.I heard witchcraft,Wicca,or what not just ain't right.If witches can be sweet,smart,attractive & considerate,etc. then what's wrong with dating one.If they look like the ones in CHARMED then you might want to hold on to your boyfriend.Have you ever had an exp.(good-bad)with anyone within that circle?Would she cast a spell on me while I'm asleep?Also,the new religion GUMBO(adopting faiths,beliefs,incorporating certainties from various religions)?Probably not(I just made it up not long ago)Do you think there's anything good to adopt from Wicca?What the heck is good Witchcraft?night niter.........
Good witchcraft is where the witch uses the spells that she/he knows to help others.She/he can use a love potion or help someone get pregnant.A bad witch will use their powers to hurt people.To cause them pain or to cause them to be fired from a job or even (GOD forbid) kill them.
I have practiced witchcraft for many years and I have never once used it to hurt someone.
Uh.. Well sadly, I have yet to meet a witch. Yet I do believe in Wicca, and I think it's amazing for people to do it. Though, again, I have not met any. But I think it helps with believing in something until it comes true.
Witchcraft is a delusion created by Satan for the purpose of Deception. It is merely a false personage, in which the person gets an egotistical boost thinking that they are casting spells themselves when it is really Satan casting them. Do not be deceived by this my good friend; beware...
1. I am a witch, I have had plenty of good experiences with other witches. My husband for instance. We do rituals together all the time.
2. Real Witches are Wiccans. We adhere to the Wiccan Rede, "An harm ye none, do what thou will" That means we vow not to harm others including doing magi ck against their will.
3. Wicca is an ancient religion. The Old Religion as many call it, predates all other religions in Europe that we know of. Although the name Wicca was adopted in the 20Th century as far as we know.
Many Witches went into hiding after anti-Witchcraft laws were put into effect. They kept their covens secret and many started practicing solitary magi ck. The religion never completely died out, although Christian leaders tried very hard to extinguish it.
4. Of course there are good things to adopt from Wicca. We have many good rituals for healing and fertility as well as money problems. Then there is out care for the environment and the Wiccan Rede as mentioned above.
5. Good Witchcraft is really a myth. Because the intentions of just about any spell can be made good or bad. Its up to the caster/Witch to keep his/her intentions in the right place. As part of our faith, we have the Law of Three, which is that anything you send out you get back times three. This goes for magical and non-magical actions.

1) Whats wrong with dating a witch? Nothing at all, as long as you are open to their religious practices and they are open and willing to share their lives with you, nothing should be wrong with that situation
2) Dont believe 90% of what you see on television regarding Paganism and/or witchcraft including Charmed.
3) I have had good and bad experiences with people that are Pagan. I co-run a coven in my community so I see a lot of different types of people come and go. It's just like any other religion in the fact that there is a nut in every bunch. As long as you take the time to get to know the person you are going to be spending your time with, and not just dating that person based on his/her beliefs you shouldn't run into any problems.
4) I should hope that you wouldn't spend your time with someone you didn't trust. If your hanging out with a nice girl/guy they will certainly know the effects of doing spells on other people without their permission.
5) What you refer to as "Gumbo" is more regularly called being Ecclectic. Many people do it, and its growing fervor.
6) There are many great things to learn and incorporate from Wicca, including a love for the earth and its offerings, the Wicca Reed, and a love for the Goddess and God are among many. One thing that is important to know though is that there is more than one from of Paganism, not all witches are Wicca, and that does not mean they are evil or bad or practice dark magic, it simply means they do not follow the exact guidelines of Wicca.
7) Good Witchcraft is magic that does not hurt any other living beings.

i see nothing wrong with dating a witch...i wouldn't mind dating a character from charmed, but we both know that's not gonna happen...it depends on how strong you and your "witch" feel religion is a factor in the relationship...if the person is sweet,smart,attractive and considerate...i say go for it
