Witch's do not just practice "dark/black Magick" the intended purpose as a Witch is to work, live in white light. THere are Witches that do no spell or Magick..Magick is not what makes a Witch.
There are great books out there that ACCURATELY inform the truth of my belief system and its practices check them out.
it depends. is she fully a witch yet? if just starting black/white magic, or any kind of magic, you have to reach a specific level to be considered a witch. if she just started and has not been classified a witch, then no, but if she has reached that level, then she is still a witch even if she stops using the magic.. but, witches are not evil. witches are people(beings) that use magic. and black magic is not evil magic. black magic is more to controlling darkness and other elements. white magic is the use of non-elemental magic or holy magic.
these are examples:
Black Magic:
1)curse,
2)prognosis
3)hydrogenous
White Magic:
1)Healing
2)Charms
3)Levitation
there are more types of magic.. these are the ones people know more about..
BTW, message me if you want to know more about magic..
I'm not that good at explaining just like that, so ask me questions. egg:What is the sours of levitation or, what group is Rage(its a spell or condition that enables the user to go in to a raged state etc)
If she was actually practicing black magic I would suggest you get away from her and stay away from her because she violated our law, and it WILL come back to haunt her in a not good way. If she does not know our law ( see below ) then she is NOT a real witch.
She could still be a witch if she is casting good or bad spells.
Our Law says:
Bide the Wiccan law ye must,
In perfect love, and perfect trust.
Eight words the Wiccan Reed fulfill:
an' ye harm none, do what ye will.
What ye send forth comes back to thee,
so ever mind the Law of three.
Follow this with mind and heart,
Merry ye meet, and merry ye part.
Someone who does not practice witchcraft usually isn't called a witch... or at least there's no good reason to call such a person a witch. If she has no intention of ever practicing any form of witchcraft again, then I'd say she's not a witch anymore.
Nothing wrong with being a witch. I know plenty and they're awesome. Few witches bother with "dark magi ck" and most focus on helpful work.

First of all, witchcraft and dark magic are not synonymous at all. Witchcraft is a magical practice in which practitioners manipulate natural energies in order to cause a desired change in ones own life. It's not dark or evil. The "goodness" or "evilness" of a spell depends on the witch's intent and neither is inherent in magic at all (I don't like those terms at all and would argue that even intent didn't color magic as good or evil). Witches may use magic in a positive or negative way, but positive doesn't always mean good, and negative doesn't always mean evil. Positive energy manifests and negative energy banishes, and you can just as easily manifest a curse as you can banish a bad habit.
However, a witch only remains a witch so long as he or she continues to practice witchcraft and continues to call himself or herself a witch. If your girlfriend no longer practices and has declared herself an ex-witch, then she is no longer a witch.

I have no idea..whether or not your girlfriend was or is a Witch, if she is going around claiming to be practicing 'Black Magic' though i highly doubt she is, or was. Amethyst Moon, you state the following.. 'the intended purpose as a Witch is to work, live in white light'..No, it really is not, this i no way reflects Witchcraft as i know and practice it.
