Default questions about stones, astronomy and Magic/witchcraft?

I was listening to this man talk about there are stones that represent your astronomy sign and if you put it in a jar of water out side so the light of the full moon can hit it it will take in the energy of the moon and then the morning you drink the water and wear the stone . what is this called and what is it for. thank you .
Opps i spelled it wrong so sue me. sorry.

That man was just making stuff up so he could sell stones.

You didn't spell astronomy wrong. Astronomy is a science that deals with the stars and other objects in the universe. Astrology is superstitious nonsense.

Stoned moon water, yum. I think eating decent meals, a little exercise and a good night's rest would do you better.

And I'd be careful what stones you put in the water. Some could be poisonous or worse.

Some stones should not be soaked as they are soluble. Some might not make the water safe to drink.

Charging a crystal or charm with moon energy is a common way to cleanse it or empower it in Witchcraft. You can also soak them or leave them in the sun, bury them in the earth or in a bowl of salt, or hold them over smoldering incense.

These are common techniques for cleansing charms, empowering them for various reasons... what it would do would depend on the type of stone.

I wouldn't drink the water though, personally, wouldn't recommend it.
