What is the connection between Pokemon and witchcraft ?

I want to know what is the connection between Pokemon and witchcraft. I have been reading and hearing from some preachers that Pokemon are satanic.

There is none.

It is the most satanic thing in the world Pokemon is much worse than witchcraft.

Christian Conservative Kooks call anything they don't like "satanic" or "witchcraft." There is no real connection, other than the one in their head. Usually the arguments go like this: Pikachu has pointy ears. Satan has pointy ears. Therefore PIKACHU IS SATAN! This is clearly evidenced by the fact that he can survive inside a poke ball, which is red, JUST LIKE SATAN

In fact, lots of tings are witchcraft satanic:

Rock music - satanic.
D&D - witchcraft.
Video games - satanic.
Wicca - satanic (do! can't even get this one right, eh?)
Harry Potter - witchcraft...which to them is the same as satanic.
Bhuddism - satanic (no, I'm not kidding!)

Oh yes, and let's not forget their other hobby of banning and/or burning(!) books - like Fahrenheit 451. Irony is totally lost on Christian Conservative Kooks. Other books include Huckleberry Finn (it's racist they say - again missing the entire point of the book) and 1984 (I guess because they want a totalitarian government to arise through the loss of personal rights or something?)
