Why are people talking about Christine Odonnell and witchcraft?

I don't care about that any more than I care about Obama being Muslim (which he isn't)

The only thing I don't like is if people want to make policy based on their religion.
Are people teasing the religious right because they're so anal about any elected official being Christian?

It's like Palin saying Obama was palling around with terrorists. Same thing. The Cons hate it when the tables turn.

Because she said she did witchcraft in a clip 11 years ago on Bill Maher's show, and now it's a big deal because she's aspiring for a political office

It's ridiculous and a dirty tactic, but politics as usual.

I don't like her. I don't care what people say about her. I don't care if people curse her to her face.

Do you care about hypocrites? She has set herself up as a right wing, religious, anti-masturbation, anti-premarital sex, goody two shoes, and now we find out she "dabbled in witchcraft" and lives with her boyfriend. She claims to have earned $5800 last year and gave $3000 of it to her campaign! How did she live? Plus now we're finding out that she used donations to her campaigns to pay her personal expenses like rent, cell phone, bowling fees. This woman sounds not only like a hypocrite, but a crook, to boot.

it has more to do with Christianity looking down on witchcraft.
I don't care if she dabbled, or is currently interested in it, but I'm not christian. my life rules allow me to be more tolerant of all religions.
acceptance is good, and she shouldn't be judged at all based on her religion or past religions.
