I think we'll all agree that you need to learn to spell.
God says a lot of things. Do you think a woman that has been raped should be forced to marry her rapist? Things were different then and it was considered a good thing, but what about now? Come on man, get real.
" When you enter the land the LORD your God is giving you, do not learn to imitate the detestable ways of the nations there. Let no one be found among you who sacrifices his son or daughter in the fire, who practices divination or sorcery, interprets omens, engages in witchcraft, or casts spells, or who is a medium or spirits or who consults the dead. Anyone who does these things is detestable to the LORD, and because of these detestable practices the LORD your God will drive out those nations before you. You must be blameless before the LORD your God.
The nations you will dispossess listen to those who practice sorcery or divination. But as for you, the LORD your God has not permitted you to do so."
Deuteronomy 18:9-14
"But the cowardly, the unbelieving, the vile, the murderers, the sexually immoral, those who practice magic arts, the idolaters and all liars?their place will be in the fiery lake of burning sulfur. This is the second death."
Revelation 21:8
"Blessed are those who wash their robes, that they may have the right to the tree of life and may go through the gates into the city. Outside are the dogs, those who practice magic arts, the sexually immoral, the murderers, the idolaters and everyone who loves and practices falsehood.
'
Revelation 22:14-15
Based on these passages, I would have to agree with you.
No it isn't wrong. It is a tool like other things so really it is the intent of user who determines if it is used for good or bad. It is like saying guns are bad or wrong. It is the one pulling the trigger who decides if it is going to be used for good or evil. Not the gun.
I do not agree with a hypocritical God that says one thing but does another. I don't agree with a God that says "Thou shalt not kill" yet in another breath says "Thou shalt not suffer a Witch to live" (please do not lecture me on the terminology of Witch and poisoner, I already know). I do not agree with a God that puts Women on the same level as dogs and vermin, meanwhile placing men on such a high pedestal (while many of the men are more so responsible for the problems in this world, no offense to men).
Witchcraft is a free practice. Apparently God doesn't like people to be free, but to depend on him 100%. The moment his "Creations" start thinking for themselves, he creates a law to prevent it further.
My Goddess states that Witchcraft is a fine practice, and encourages it, so I'll stick to her word over a hypocrite.
How ridiculous. One question = one question mark, that's my rule. so 'God' thinks Witchcraft is 'Ring' eh? oh well, best you stay right way from it then.
My God and Goddess don't thing it's wrong. As a matter of fact They think it's a very good thing. I believe your God said something to the effect that you should love your fellow man. You may be thinking of the quote in the bible that says Do not suffer a witch to live. This is a miss translation of the original language. The word witch was actually sorcerer and meant someone who did evil. Witches, especially Wiccans, do not do evil. We are a peaceful, Earth based religion. We work toward healing and taking care of the Earth and her children, unlike Christians who have done a lot of killing in the name of their God.
