Default What type of witchcraft do Wiccans practice?

Now, I completely respect your beliefs, don't get me wrong. I'm just honestly curious. Is it a meditative type of thing to connect with nature/a god and/or goddesses? Or are there actual spells and such? Or a combination?
I know not all Wiccans practice witchcraft

I'm not Wicca but I think more of the meditative stuff, and then some ritual spell type things. Try going onto an on line Wiccan site.

Wiccans don't practice witchcraft, witches do. Wiccans practice Wicca. Witches practice witchcraft. Wicca has existed since the mid-1900s while witchcraft predates Christianity. It's all very fascinating, you should consider looking into it. Wicca generally involves spiritual meditation and a connection with nature. Wiccans worship different types of gods and can be either monotheistic or polytheistic. There are actual spells, but they are more symbolic than anything else. Individual covens and vicunas practice different types of Wicca, but they all revolve around the same concept.

The types of the Craft practiced by the Wiccans that do practice Witchcraft are as varied as the people themselves.
Some use meditations, incantations, charms, spells, herbs, candles, cards, crystals, divining rods.
Many practice no Witchcraft at all.
You already know that not all Wiccans are Witches, not all Witches are Wiccan either.
I am an atheist Witch. I belong to no group or coven and practice my craft in solitary. Occasionally my sisters and nieces and I will get together to cast a major circle, we are more powerful as a group, so, if someone needs healing or protection I practice with a group.

For one of my Anthropology classes they had some people from a coven ( not sure that's how you spell it), come talk to us about their religion. They said that there are different sects and they themselves did do spells.

I don't know if you watched the Secret, but they said that they use the kind visualization power but more focused... It seems pretty cool.

Witchcraft comes in many forms. Energy direction, horology (for healing and etc), use of stones and gems as protective war dings and to be used in spell work, divination (which also comes in many forms), and several more. What type(s) of craft a Wiccan practice varies with the Wiccan. The general rules of thumb are simply that you try to not cause harm to another person (even yourself) and not to try to force someone to do what you want (example: love you).
