Witchcraft today is a religion much like Roman Catholicism. Like Christianity, witchcraft comes in more flavors than ice cream, so pick and choose before involving yourself with any given coven.

Well before you start doing spells and begin practicing Witchcraft you need to learn more about it, which means a lot of study and dedication, not someone handing you the material and saying "This is what witchcraft is all about"

You have to find what is right for you, not what is right for Simone else. Study, study, study.

Then practice.

This isn't Harry Potter. You can't point a wand, shout some words, and make magi ck. It takes years of hard work, studying and dedication to create an effect.

You can't buy a new laptop with Windows 7, hit three buttons, and suddenly know how to work every part of it.

witchcraft is very real.all forms of magic are real if you work hard at your craft.i have never practiced it myself.i know no one who has either. like someone else said,they re r so many different various versions of "witchcraft" u need to pick one.or try em all.in that respect i would say witchcraft is just another word for magic these days.so pick ya poison.practice hard , and use ya new skill for your better good and well being.my specialty is a form of "witchcraft"(as Pol like to call it) is called chaos magic.ppl dint like us because we dint follow they re rules and our accuracy rating is way higher than they re skulls and blood rituals or any of that unnecessary stuff.key word:sigils

Witchcraft is a real practice. It's not as movies portray with poofs of smoke and sparkly lights or instantaneous materialization of things. Witchcraft is a subtle practice. Because there is no real visual proof people dismiss it...but people must realize that there is far more to life than what our eyes tell us, because our eyes CAN lie as well as our mouths do. Many of the results of ones craft are often dismissed by skeptics as coincidences simply because they don't WANT to believe it when they see it. What's the point on providing proof to someone if they have already made up their mind that spells and Witchcraft are not real and produce no "real" results (besides what's real? Is it only what we see?)

It takes YEARS to learn even the basics of witchcraft enough to produce any type of result. Sure I could provide you with a spell but all you would see are words and a few ingredients. There's FAR more to Witchcraft and spell crafting than reciting an incantation, lighting a few candles and dropping some herbs into boiling water. Why must people believe Witchcraft is what stories and media tell them it is?. People are so bent on real Witches being delusional, thinking they can fly and make things go poof and things appear directly in front of them simply because that's what movies and stories say happen. We Witches who actually practice the craft are not stupid. We KNOW Witchcraft doesn't work that way! Why can't you (and this you being a general "you") understand that?

That depends on what your definition of witchcraft is.

In reality - Witchcraft is a set of skills one learns and practices, including but not limited to: spell craft/magic, herbal health and healing, energy healing (such as Reiki, crystal healing, etc.), and various methods of divination. Most witches tend to find they have an affinity for and are able to become adept at a certain few practices, but certainly not every single one that could be classified under "witchcraft".

Are you really meaning to ask if magic is real and if there's any proof of it? We'll use Aleister Crowley's definition of magic here: the science and art of causing change to occur in conformity with the will", including both "mundane" acts of will as well as ritual magic.

Rather hard to provide you with absolute proof since magic doesn't work instantaneously or with any spectacular visual effects like you might see in the fictional world of witches in the movies. I would even say magic works highly on a psychological level...setting you to take more appropriate actions and make more of an effort to achieve your goal, though it may not seem like it to you consciously.

Witchcraft can help one with achieving any realistic goal that does not defy the laws of nature and physics.

Warnings? Dabbling can be dangerous as you could inadvertently harm yourself or others. If you want to learn, start at the beginning and be prepared for several years of serious study and practice before you'll become adept. And, be careful what you wish for.

Ingredients for spells are merely focus aids. They are helpful for many, but not necessary. One who is very adept at controlling the focus of their mind and utilizing visualization can cast an effective spell without using a single tool or speaking a single word aloud.

You will never learn witchcraft from websites alone. I would recommend Christopher Penczak's book "The Inner Temple of Witchcraft" for a beginner. This will help you to build the foundation of knowledge and mental skills working effective spells will require. It is set up to be studied and worked much like his live year-long beginner witchcraft course.

Witchcraft is real. John Todd explains in this video his involvement in witchcraft.

Yes it's real.

Here's my favorite "spell" that doesn't need ingredients:

"How To Get What You Really, Really, Really, Really Want"
by Dr. Wayne W. Dyer

(1) Wish for it?be willing to ask for it;
(2) desire it with all your heart;
(3) have the will or intention to go after it; and
(4) be passionate about what you want, ignoring the doubts of others.

As Dr. Dyer says, ?What you think about expands, so think about what you want?not about what you don?t want!?

Yes it is real and not something to be played with willy Nolly. However there are many differences between the Religion of Wytchecraft and what is portrayed on television. Real Wytchecraft doesn't always employ Magick (though most practitioners do), Magick is simply the manipulation of the natural forces to achieve your desired intention.

My website has the basic information on Wytchecraft and Paganism. I don't have spells on the website simply because I believe you should be trained by an experienced practitioner before you play around with Magick in any form.

No spell NEEDS ingredients, the true magick lies within the energy of the wytche, 'ingredients' are simply tools to assist in focusing the mind and amplifying the energy.

If you are seriously interested in learning more about mgick and Wytchecraft then you are welcome to join my forum (the web pages are new so there are not many people on there yet), and ask whatever questions you like, I will be happy to help.

Witchcraft is very real, it is applied for many reasons. On the matter of learning Witchcraft, I wouldn't bother relying on any website, anybody can publish on the Internet and threes a lot of rubbish out there.
Do you believe in the miracles of Christ? Now, if he did the things he is reputed to have done, everlasting few fish and loaves etc in say, the middle ages ...he would have been deemed a Witch.
Just suppose you tell me what else it is he was doing?
Yes, Magick and witchcraft exist.
