Default Why is witchcraft and magic so easy to write about?

I meant writing books about witchcraft is easier than writing books about love or sex

Easier than writing books about religion

Easier than writing spiritual self-help books...

Easier than basically anything else... I could become a millionaire writing books about witchcraft...

Yeah, good luck with that. The books seem easier to write about because the rules governing the canon are far easier to bend. Write yourself into a corner? Dragon attack. Protagonist can't defeat the antagonist? Magic spell to the rescue. However, the ability to create a storyline within the bounds of your flexible canon and the ability to write a good book are not the same thing.

Because the devil is a liar and the rules to writing this kind of books are easy. Mostly because there is no structure in them and you can pretty much make up whatever you want ins ted of writing the truth.

It is only easy if you know the subject.

Witchcraft for instance is not the stuff you see in films like Harry Potter.

Real witches like VenusSatanas would rip a false witch to pieces.

I think magic and witchcraft are incredibly difficult to write intelligently about. There are so many intangibles that simply cannot be put into the confines of phonetic dictation...words are too small. There are things that cannot be conveyed by written word; that must be taught hand to hand and heart to heart or they are missing something.

Or are you trying to say "there are an awful lot of crap books out there about magic and witchcraft"? Because there, you'd be right.

Because you can make it all up. You can do that with the fake, made-up stuff, you know.
