Default Is the Christine O'Donnell witchcraft "controversy" proving Americans and American me

I mean can anybody truly believe this country, these people and this media culture can accomplish what needs to be done when crap like this becomes national headlines?
...then you................."Meanwhile, every time Obama so much as kills a fly the conservatives can't stop talking about it for 3 months."

Childishness goes both ways. I guess my point would be that neither side can act like adults long enough to get anything done.
Religous Wrong................"it only became HEADLINES after O DONNEL stuck her neck in the public"

She won a Republican primary in one of the smallest states in the country. Are you telling me national media outlets didn't have ANYTHING else to talk about or report on? Give me a faking break.

It's no more silly than the questions about Obama's religion or citizenship.

You make a great point. This is it. This is the real problem in America. The media is shit. It's one thing to be tossed around in political circles, but WTF. Unfortunately, the media outlets know they can make money from it. They know people will watch. The know the parties are divided so why not just play into it. We have turned into an inept country with a short attention span. Very little "news" is actually news.

It's all foolishness. Anything to avoid focusing on the issues.

Next thing you know, it will be national headlines that she participated in a seance as a child and owned a Ouija board. Children's foolish play makes for headlines for the democrats.

Apparently the only acceptable religion in the American politics is Judaism, which get the "they can't help it they were born that way, haven't you watched Schindler's List for Christ sakes? " treatment.

If she somehow wins then a witch-believing anti-masturbation creationist fun die gets into the worlds top 100 most powerful political positions.

Better to discredit her now.

Yes. Picking on a candidate for their antics in high school is setting a new low bar. Wouldn't you just love to see what some of our elected officials said and did when they were in high school and then hold it against them in the next election? Its all meant to put her on the defensive and take the emphasis off the pressing issues facing the nation.

The reason that the witchcraft thing is making headlines news is because people find it amusing that the tea party, while accusing Obama of being a Muslim, communist, terrorist, etc., get behind a candidate who dabbled into the occult. Now let me clarify, O'Donnell said the words "SATANIC ALTAR", so for all you Wiccans and real witches out there, I am not confusing Satanism with witches.

Also, the constant smear campaigns you see on TV is because of bipartisan bu!!$h!t politics. Honestly, if people would forget their party ties, this country would probably be in better shape. Even George Washington warned against political parties!

You really miss the point. She comes from a party that acts like they are the only honorable people in the country. They are the only ones with values. Anytime we find anything out about anyone from their party, the person makes a mockery out of them. Do you understand that is the point?
