Default Does anybody else find the witchcraft thing to be the funniest thing in politics this

I mean, COME ON. Rightwing conservatives defending Satanism and altar sacrifices and dabbling in witchcraft?

This is beyond funny. This is delicious.
To Maxwell: O'Donnell spoke about a date she had where she was making out with the guy on a sacrificial Satan's altar. There was blood on it.

And as it so happens - I have never touched a Oija board, nor dabbled in the occult in any way whatsoever. Want to know why? I mean, since you brought it up? Because my mother was an actual, real live Christian woman who said that the "other world" will leave you alone if you leave it alone. She said that if you "invited" them, they would come.

One of the funniest. I think the funniest was when Newt Gingrich spoke at a value voters summit. Not that is definitely funny. Also hypocritical.

So many of these right wingers on here think that they have a monopoly on Christianity. Yet, so many don't act Christian. They have little slogans like "value voters, moral majority, the Christian Right", etc....

Witchcraft is about as far away from Christianity as you get. So are the actions of so many on this site.

Absolutely!

I will be tuning in to Saturday Night Live, because they could not write a script better than this.

I wonder if Tina Fey will play Christine O'donnell?

I seeing another Emmy for Tina Fey.

She didn't make any alter sacrifices.

if you ever played with one of Milton/bradley's Ouija boards, you are just as guilty of dabbling in black magic and the occult.

ADD:
Making out on an alter that was used in a sacrifice is NOT the same as making a sacrifice yourself. I visited Mayan ruins, where they killed people on alters...but I've never sacrificed a human or any other animal.

I don't doubt you never messed with "the other side".

My point is, "dabbling in the occult" is so far from the appalling act it once was, popular game companies mass produce an item that back in the day would have gotten you burned at the stake. People don't believe so much anymore...especially teen age girls who are smitten with the 'bad-boy'.

Yes but for different reasons.

First, that what someone did in High School is considered relevant now. If people could only see your clothes and hair from HS we would all get a good laugh.

Second, the idea that she is still somehow a witch or something.

Third, the idea that Conservatives are defending those things instead of pointing out 1 and 2 above.

So like you I see it as beyond funny but predictable.
