I have read about it and want to be a witch butt i haven't told anyone because i am scared my family and friends will hate me because i was bought up a catholic and i feel witchcraft is what i believe. How do i tell them without people thinking i am bad? and are there any places i can meet up with other witches in derby? thanks

Well that's good! very good! You would be like me! Witchcraft makes life easier. and by the way don't be afraid of people hating you. I always say that i don't believe in God and nature is my god and they didn't have any problem with it. If they're your true friends, the would respect you and your choice.I live in Philippines now. But i continue to learn witchcraft.. please don't give up with your belief. There's very few of us that still believe in Witchcraft.. GO!GO!
In general you don't "become" a witch,you are born one. Then as your life moves along you realize what you are and who you are. I would not tell family and tell only certain friends. If you have an occult book store in town go there. Older more experienced Wiccans could help you on your way.
It's really easy don't just tell them, they'll think u talking bullshit to them. And don't tell them that Witches exist, u should not reveal the magic. U just not supposed to. Oh. and to find out if Ur really a witch. U get bad nightmares, and u find a spirit coming to u. That's how I know, I'm an original witch, cause my great grandma's power has been passed OT me. One night, I found my grandma's spirit in my room, brushing my hair while sleeping. SHe whispered to me that I'm a witch, when I was 12. Witchcraft can be also learned. THere is nothing like only the originals can be a witch. Anyone can be witch, unless u Blvd in witchcraft. Steps to learn witchcraft:
1) Keep a journal. Write these questions answers on you own: What does 'witch' mean to you?, Why do you want to learn 'witchcraft'?, What does the Divine mean to you?, How do you visualize God and the Goddess?
2) Then, collect spells, from the net.
3) Find the other witch's.
4) Practise the spells, whatever u want to ac hive which is needed.
5) Buy the things, esp, candles, in different colors.

Witchcraft is a practice, a set of skills one learns and utilizes - quite literally, a craft. It is not a religious belief system in and of itself. There are witches of various faiths, and witches that don't follow any particular religion at all. My first piece of advice would be if you want your loved ones to take this seriously, instead of saying you want to "get into witchcraft" which makes it sound like a fad or some sort of club, you instead say you would like to study witchcraft or learn more about witchcraft.

I would highly recommend Christopher Penczak's "The Inner Temple of Witchcraft" as a book for beginners. It is set up to be followed much like his live beginner witchcraft course.
If you are a minor living in your parents home, you really should have a conversation with your parents about this interest, rather than hiding your studies and practice behind their backs. It wouldn't be a good idea to break your parents trust. It's not worth ruining your relationship with your family over. If they disapprove, you need to respect their wishes while you are still under their care. It will still be there when you are an adult.
As you should in any situation, exercise caution when communicating with other claim-to-be witches. There's a bad apple in every bushel and there are certainly folks out there who would not have your best interests at heart. I've seen some who claim they are qualified to teach who have neither the experience nor proper knowledge to do so. Think logically, and practically. Trust in your own intuition and use your best judgment.

I started to rebuke, bind and loose and say all kinds of things, but I did not consult the Lord first. The devil loves for God?s people to run out into battle naked.
I learned the hard way and suffered many things such as loss of health, car accidents, tormenting dreams etc etc. And yet I was still interceding for others, but I was catching all the arrows. But GOD. He is so merciful to us. I want to tell all of you that OUR GOD is loving kind.
OUR GOD is merciful. And OUR GOD fights our battles. Jesus blood is enough, and he invites us to partner with him. But let us not go into battle naked. Before you do your warfare, make sure you are taking the time to sit before the Lord. Inquire of the Lord and HE WILL ANSWER you. He will tell you how to deal with EACH BATTLE!! HE faithfully gave Israel instructions before they went into each battle!

He is God. Period. He rules and he Reigns. He is not in confusion, nor fear. His love is set upon you daily. Do you have unconfused sin in your life? Have you taken communion with him? Do you fast for deliverance? Have you placed yourself under the blood of Jesus? Can you sit before him in silence and just ?Know? that he has already delivered you?
Have you WORSHIPED him? Never underestimate the power of Worshiping God.Do your warfare from a place of Worship. Worship of the Lord changes the atmosphere around you. Witchcraft spirits HATE worship. They hate the sounds that come from us when we adore our King.
Prepare the environment. Prepare a place for your King. Go low and stay humble before the Lord and may he send his ministering angels to fight on your behalf, release strength to you, and refresh you, for they are assigned to we the heirs of salvation.
And when you have submitted to God, THEN resist the powers of darkness, take authority in Jesus name and tell the devil where he can go!

The Lord has given us MANY weapons,(praise, worship, decree, dance, fasting, taking communion, silence) seek the Lord on each occasion on which one you should use, and be obedient! And REST in Him!
