Was Zoroastrianism the first religion to come up with heaven and hell?

Is this where Christianity and Islam came up with the idea of heaven and hell?

Zoroaster was credited with coming up with the notion of Good vs Evil and make it into religion. But, its pretty obvious that this idea has been around much longer, its just convenient for teachers to teach it this way so they explain it like this.

I doubt that it was the first with a heaven and hell. Egyptians had the concept of a series of trials and if the pharaoh was unworthy, he would suffer eternal torment.

I am not sure about being the FIRST religion coming up with heaven and hell, however it is known to be the religion that influenced Christianity and Islam.
As a matter of fact Christianity and Islam share many beliefs with Zoroastrianism, the religion of Cyrus the Great, who released the Jews from their Babylonian Exile. Just a few of the beliefs that we know came from Zoroastrianism are the beliefs in angels, Satan, heaven and hell as places of reward and punishment, and the end of times, when the Saoshyant (in Zoroastrianism )or Jesus(in Christianity) will lead humanity in the last battle against evil.

To my mind, Heaven and Hell are not some distant places in another world waiting for us and we be placed there according to our deeds.
Every thing is very much HERE and NOW
Religion is only a disciplined way of life which helps helps an individual to live a healthy, socially acceptable, nature friendly and hygienic way of life with the only aim to have a healthy body with an intelligent mind which in turn will generate GOOD THOUGHTS - GOOD WORDS & GOOD DEEDS to purify and prep air ones soul to reach a higher spiritual plane.
Since there exists no records of any other religion before ZOROASTRIANISM, let us assume it to be the first one and what difference will it really make if some one would like it to be the 10Th. religion ??
Prophets like Zoroastra, Jesus Christ, Moses, Mohammad Guru-Nanak, Baha-Ulla are the messengers of GOD-ALMIGHTY who were sent in different places in different eras BUT with the same message - They as individuals were much more advanced soul es and much superior humans beings then the rest of the crowd in that particular era. They were also having the intelligence, the vision and the ability to fore-see things much ahead of their normal life span and far-away into the distant future and were also able to identify the root cause of all Thoughts, Words & Deeds be it GOOD or BAD, and categorized it to format a disciplined way of healthy, intelligent life on this planet in harmony with the nature.
However the rules that have been laid down by the prophets differs according to the place and time that the particular religion has originated from (e.g. if a Hindu eats beef he will go to hell and the same stands good for a Muslim who would eat pork BUT it is OK for a Christian) Meaning Hinduism has originated from India and India being agricultural pros porous there is no shortage of vegeterian food and there are better use of a cow then to just slaughter and eat it up - whereas Islam has originated from the desserts and if one attempts eating pork he will contrive some serious illness But for the Christains they are compelled to eat it or they die hungry
Since I strongly belive that we all are into a kind of a contract with GOD (The Supreme Source of Light or Energy) that during our life as human beings on this planet Earth We are supposed to take care of the planet and all its natural resources and help nature make this World into a Heaven and in return We get spiritual enlightment and elevate our souls to a higher plan .. To prove this I would like to add that if you do good unto others - The same shall come back to you in Ten folds - and the same is applicable for som,e thing bad that you would do - That also will come back to the same way and so the Heaven & Hell concept is right here and nowhere else
