Default Since Zoroastrianism is the base of Christianity, Islam, and Judaism how come so few

Zoroastrianism is the oldest known religion and the basis for Christianity, Islam, and Judaism. However, most people have no idea what it is, or claim that it had nothing to do with the creation of those religions. Do you think because it was first that it is more true? why/why not?

Marketing?

Christianity, to be fair, borrowed from a lot of other religions/myths too.

Since Kimba the White Lion is the base of Lion King, how come so few know about it?

This is false, I can't believe the amount of people that have recently tried to revive this copycat religion. All Zoroastrianism did was try to steal known prophecies of the times that were well known for years amongst the Jews. It is a false cult , it is dead , it was a copycat religion based on Jewish prophecies, everyone knows this, it is old old news and was put to death long ago.

Your kidding !! Zoro was the basis of Christianity ? No!! Don't tell me that please. How come that Zoro has not been preserved through the ages ? And Christianity is among the billions. It's because he existed only in the movies.

I thought the Islamic believers tried to get rid(down play them) of these folks long time ago.(Muhammad had gotten rid of but a few gods and then he decided that only Allah should remain)
There is very little in art history said of them.. their beliefs are linked to the medic texts... I did not know they tried to like these guys to Christian beliefs too???
They just believe in one true uncreated being.. no son.. no prophets.. so old testaments or new..
they believe in good deeds and etc but in Christianity you can't live by such ideas alone...etc etc etc

I disagree with your statement. The claim is made by the followers of Zoroastrianism, but that is not one that is accepted by Judaism, Christianity, or Islam (or, for that matter, by most historians).

Judaism is based upon the writings of Moses and the prophets (of the Old Testament). Christianity is based upon the life and teachings of Jesus. Islam is based upon the teachings of the Islamic prophet Muhammad. Zoroastrianism is based upon the teachings ascribed to the prophet Zoroaster, after whom the religion is named and is the worship of Ahura Mazda, exalted by Zoroaster as the supreme divine authority.

Until the late 1600s, Zoroaster was dated around the sixth century BCE, which coincided with both the ?Traditional date? and accounts of people, such as Ammianus Marcellinus xxiii.6.32, fourth century CE. By the late nineteenth century, the issue was far from settled, with James Darmesteter claiming a later date (about 100 BCE) and others claiming dates as early as 6000 BCE. The ?Traditional date? is giving as following Alexander?s conquest of the Achaemenid Empire in 330 BCE. There is on-going debate over the date and the "Traditional date" is no longer considered valid for a number of reasons.

You are correct. It had a greater influence than most people realize. For example the later portions of Leviticus, namely much of the The Holiness Codes of Judaism, include those famous passages many people use to condemn homosexuality, came directly from tenants first laid down in Zoroastrianism.

And most religions, especially fanatical ones, do not encourage education. At least not anything which might tend to contradict or show in a bad light what the religion is trying to make its adherents believe.

Zoroastrianism is focused on the clash between the group of gods who side with Ormuzd against the group of gods who side with whats-his-name. It's nothing like Christianity and Judaism.

wrong just one of the older man made religions after man was separated from God. Man seeking God in his own way, but not excepting Gods way have you forgotten about Cain and Able, and Noah, older then Zoroastrianism.
