Yes, Zoroastrianism is in fact the oldest known organized religion on the planet.

yes

I think the above answer is a little off. Hinduism is older than Zoroastrianism, especially if we were to accept it's prior merging predecessor Sanskrit and local animist versions.

Alos, early Judaism was not "monotheistic" as we would know it today. Zoroastrainism was.

And is the template from which Christianity is taken. Christianity is Zoroastrianism in a cheap suit.

no. Zoroastrianism enters (in recorded history anyway) about the mid-5Th century B.C.E.

Judaism is about 1000 years older.

Historical texts say they originated at around the same time. Zoroastrianism a little bit before.

But there is probably a lot that we don't know about since at that time, most people were illiterate. They may have been worship ping Zoroaster or Jehovah for a long time before anyone got around to writing it down.

The two religions originated in the same area of the world (middle East) so when people say that Judaism and Christianity are based on early Zoroastrian myths, and then go on to point out the many similarities, they might be right. The two groups would have had contact with each other, and would have swapped myths and adopted some as their own.

Most of the major religions of the world, with the exception of Islam and Christianity, today took their present form in a brief period known as "The Axial Age."

The earliest known Zoroastian texts date back to 500 BCE, there seems to be some hints to it in earl er writings which would indicate its origins around 800 BCE- Rather ways, Judaism stems from Aron 1800-1500 BCE- making it centuries older than Zoroastianism. Thus fact tends to get downplayed by those that like to pretend that Judaism is a rip-off of Zoroastianism for obvious reasons
